Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Update 1.01 was released just last week, which eased out the gaming experience for many Dragon Ball fans around the world. The timely and swift upgrade is not surprising for Bandai Namco, the company behind Dragon Ball, which is known for its premium approach on quality for every product release.
Update 1.01 was highly anticipated by Dragon Ball fans around the world, which covered feedback received on Bandai Namco's website, as well as on third party websites. The most significant update is on loading time, which is now almost seamless and exceptionally fast. As one user says, he was happy that balance adjustments were made for Male Manjin and the Awaken Power form of Namekians. Online play is also more satisfactory with less lag.
Executing "Quick Match and Search" is also now made more convenient with users not having to go back and forth to the Settings tab when playing. In terms of playing experience, load sequences are significantly shortened; and the adjusted battle parameters allow users to steer away from the archaic arcade-feel that is associated with virtual games born in the '80s and '90s. Other minor bug fixes are also reported to keep spammers and hackers away from sabotaging the software.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Update 1.01 is currently available on PCs, Xbox One, and recently on PS4. The update is not yet available on Steam, the gaming world's Netflix that offers unlimited and affordable subscription options for gamers. This is a big let-down for fans who largely source their games from Steam.
Overall Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has set itself as yet another laurel on Bandai Namco's shoulders. The game stays true to its Japanese anime manga authenticity, which made the brand popular in the first place. More so, the game has given fans the opportunity to an overwhelming range of powers, tactics and strategies that made the characters even more alive.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is currently available on Steam at $49.99, and the Deluxe Edition at $79.98. Add-ons include Season Pass at $29.99, and the Steve Aoki Pack for free. The Season Pass includes new playable characters, new episodes and quests, additional masters and master quests, additional stages, and more options for skills, costumes and accessories. The Steve Aoki Pack features the famous DJ and his unique remixes playing on the background once the player arrives in Conton City.
As of today, this game is only available on the Windows OS of Version 7 and higher (64 bit only). Updates for Steam will hopefully be available by the end of November.
