More than a week after reports about the break-up between Sadie Robertson "Duck Dynasty" long-time boyfriend Blake Coward emerged, the young reality TV star posted a public video on YouTube to address the matter. Although the center of the clip is about the break-up, fans of the Robertson clan and Sadie are applauding her for how she handled the situation.

News about the break up surfaced on April 1, which led various media sources to think that it might just be a prank pulled off by Sadie and Coward on their fans. But then, a representative of the family confirmed to U.S. Magazine that the young couple have gone their separate ways.

Sadie nor any immediate member of the family has not yet offered a statement regarding the breakup until this week. On Wednesday, Sadie posted a video on YouTube for her fans.

She admitted that what had happened between her and Coward was unfortunate. However, since she knows that many fans look up to them as the type of couple to strive for, she said that she made the video for them.

"I hope, that even now, can be there for y'all," she said in the video. "And y'all can look up to us in a break-up. I know it's weird to say, but I want to be an example for y'all in y'all break-ups, because I know a lot of you are going through the exact same thing as me - we're both hurting the same way, we both feel that drop in our stomach the same way. I know exactly how you're feeling."

She then told her followers that instead of feeling bad about their own break-ups, they should strive to stay positive and learn how to use that experience for their personal development.

"Instead of being bitter, instead of being jealous, instead of being angry, want what's best for them," she said. "No matter what the outcome, take the things that you know you can work on, grow in that, and be better for the next person."

"Be better for the person that God has planned and prepared for you," Sadie added.

The young Robertson then ended her clip by offering a prayer for those who are currently going through a break-up or hardships in their own relationships.
