Rumor has it that Bethesda, a video game company that produced Elder Scrolls 6, could officially reveal Fallout 4 at the end of its E3 press conference next month, along with the game's release date. 

According to Seth G. Macy of IGN, an anonymous source told German website PC Games that the company could show off "a detailed, closed-doors video of gameplay" related to Fallout 4 during the E3 press conference. The demo is expected to be between 20 and 30 minutes in length.

"Back in February, Bethesda announced its first ever E3 conference, setting the internet ablaze with wild speculation over the conference's purpose," Macy wrote.

However, Macy emphasized that it was "just a rumor" that "could turn out to be utterly false."

"One thing is for certain, and that's Bethesda's promised that an official announcement would be a ways off," Macy wrote. "At least, that was the official line in February of last year, when director Todd Howard said there was no official Fallout 4 announcement timeline, but it was going to be 'a while.'"

However, Gary Jones of Daily Express reported that Bethesda has been dropping various hints on its other video games. He noted that they were "post-apocalyptic references from the role-playing video games."

"New Easter Eggs have been spotted in MachineGames' standalone prequel, Wolfenstein: The Old Blood," Jones wrote. "Nuka-Cola makes an appearance as an option on an in-game soft drinks dispenser, alongside another option called Supersaft that boasts a similar logo to Pip-Boy."

Jones reported that Bethesda has been out invites to its first dedicated E3 showcase.

"The invite showed a theatre filled with seats holding place cards of famous characters from the developer's past but seemed to be missing any pip boy references," Jones wrote. "The fact that there was one place card set up in the front row with a question mark on it seemed to suggest that this was one big reveal Bethesda [was] planning to keep under wraps."

Jones also noticed that changes have been made to the Fallout website.

"Bethesda updated the banner with an image of people lining up to enter a Vault," Jones wrote.

A voice actor from "Fallout 3" indicated through a YouTube podcast (around the 54-minute mark) that some of the old characters could return in "Fallout 4." According to an article from Autoomobile, Paul Eiding said that he would the voice of three different characters in the new game.

"He also revealed that his work on the game finish this month," Autoomobile wrote. "Although he did not specifically said that it was Fallout 4, he drop a few hints here and there saying that he is working on 4 games and that some of it are games from franchises."

Autoomobile cautioned that Eiding's comments "could mean anything," although there was a chance "it might be Fallout related."
