The partnership between Marvel and Netflix has been a pretty successful one so far on the small screen. The comic book giant’s characters have been well received by fans and viewers alike, keeping folks engrossed to their respective TVs while munching away on popcorn and the ilk. In fact, the likes of Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage have been entertaining to say the least, even though no one show or series is perfect. With The Punisher getting his very own Netflix show as well in due time, you can be sure that this is one cash cow that is not going to be overlooked anytime soon. In fact, we are told that action figures of The Punisher will soon join the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) stalwarts on Netflix: including Daredevil, Elektra, and Jessica Jones.

Hasbro has recently shown off a wide number of new Marvel Legends action figures over at its Toy Fair briefing over the weekend. Out of that particular bunch, four particular characters stood out from the crowd which are based purely on Netflix shows. The brand new quartet of six-inch Marvel Legends figures will boast of the likeness and image of Charlie Cox, Elodie Yung, Krysten Ritter, and Jon Bernthal as Daredevil, Elektra, Jessica Jones, and the Punisher, at a far smaller scale compared to those real life wax figures that one can check out at Madame Tussaud’s.

One particular character seems to be missing though -- that of Luke Cage, with of course, Mike Colter’s face as the basis. Fans of Marvel will be pleased as punch for sure, seeing a growing number of the Marvel Legends range that appear apart from those characters found in the Netflix figures. We are looking at luminaries in the vein of Adam Warlock, Dazzler, Death’s Head, and Warlock (Technarchy as opposed to Adam), in addition to the failed Jessica Jones Jewel superhero persona from the comics. All of these will appear in their very own 3.75” version.

Of course, the MCU is a very vast one, and it would not make much sense at all if Marvel were to stop at just what they are showing on Netflix. Rather, they would not mind to go all out in order to make sure that they will be able to milk their intellectual property franchise for all that it is worth. We do know that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will also hit the silver screen later this year, and that is another ideal opportunity to further squeeze their fan base for more money.

There will be a fresh Chris Pratt face that will adorn Star-Lord, and Kurt Russell’s Ego too, will be arriving in the form of a brand new action figure -- being an Ego in a human form of course, bearing a beard that is worthy of any aged father, in addition to a large scarf. Well, what do you think of these action figures from Hasbro? Do you figure out that they will eventually end up as some sort of collector's item?
