Jailbreaking for iOS.
San Francisco-based security expert expects the Apple iOS 10.3.1 jailbreak will be released sometimes in June.

After Apple launched iOS 9.3, the iOs jailbreak community expected a new software will become available. However, popular hacking groups Team Pangu and Taig have not yet released an update. Now here's the latest round up of news about iOS 9.1, 9.2, 9.3 jailbreak release date for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.

Tech experts say hackers delayed the launching of new iOS jailbreak tool to see if the new operating system has any bugs and if Apple would issue a patch to fix these problems.

Good thing, hackers made the right decision. Just 10 days after Apple rolled out the iOS 9.3, it issued iOS 9.3.1 to address problems in the older version. The bugs caused the screen to freeze or crash when opening links in Mail, Notes, Safari, and other apps.

It is important to take note that a security patch has the potential to expose the exploits that hackers use to develop jailbreak software.

Furthermore, iOS 9.3 introduces big set updates for the system, leading many to believe that releasing a a jailbreak tool for this version is plausible.

In a report from Forbes, it warns Apple users to take precautions when downloading jailbreak tools.  Many websites claim that there is a legitimate jailbreak tool for iOS 9.3, but when users downloaded the program, it turns out to be a virus.

As for the release of iOS 9.3, different hacking groups are still trying to find how to crack Apple's security system, so we should wait a little longer. It is also worth mentioning that there's still no tool available for iOs 9.2 and beyond. For Apple users under iOs 9.1, there is a working jailbreak software from Pangu. The Chinese hacking team reportedly took months to develop the software. Check out our previous report to know how to install it.

Meanwhile, SlashGear warned that a jailbroken device leaves the door open for malware and hackers. By nature, jailbreaking requires exploiting security holes in the operating system. However, it also exposes the device to virus and hacking programs.  Users of jailbroken device should remember to be more vigilant when downloading apps from third party sources.

Even if there are risks in installing a jailbreak software, it has tons of benefits. Users can have very personalized customization options, access to hidden files in the system, developer tools like SSH, and more.
