It is once again time for Apple to unveil the latest edition of its products. This event will take place on September 9 at 10 am PST (6 PM GMT) at the Bill Graham auditorium in San Francisco, California. Now that the Apple Keynote September 2015 Date has been Scheduled, here is how to Live Stream and what to expect for the iPhone 6S, 7, 7S, or whatever it will be called.
According to 9 to 5 Mac, Apple is expect to debut a pair of new iPads next week on the September 9th event. One is the long-awaited iPad Pro, while the other will be some new version of the iPad Mini.
So what is known about these new devices? The iPad Pro has a lot of rumors pointing to a larger size screen. Ecumenical News states that this new 12-inch iPad would be part of a plan to compete with other Samsung 12-inch tablets, not to mention the Microsoft Surface 12-inch tablet. In addition to a larger screen, some sources have said that the iPad Air 3, iPad Pro, or iPad Plus will be as thin as an iPhone 6, between 6.9 mm and 7.1 mm.
As far as what is inside the iPad Pro or iPad Plus, it could be the Apple A8X/A9 chip with 2GB of RAM, or it could be an A9 processor with 4GB of RAM with 16 GB, 32 GB, 64 GB, and even 128 GB storage options. Other features could include a fingerprint scanner as well as a convenient stylus, which would be a departure from Apple's stylus-free style.
What is very interesting is the audio aspect as many sites claim it will have up to four speakers, but possibly just two. One of the reasons why we know this are leaked images of not only the tablet itself but of the accessories, which are not only accommodating of a large screen but openings for the four speakers, one near each corner.
As for the iPad Mini 4 (assuming that will be its name), it will be a thinner version of the current iPad Mini, and it will have a fast A-seris chip with a support for split-screen applications that will be common with iOS 9.
The newest operating system could be another revelation at the big event next week, as is the possibility of a brand new Apple TV and Apple Watch Sports Bands, according to Forbes. Let's also not forget the possibility of a new iPhone. In addressing the name of the next iPhone, this article will go with 6S. Generally, a new iPhone gets an "S" if it has something a little special, but a complete upgrade of its shape usually gets a number higher.
Macworld reports that Apple has just sent invites to its September 9th, 2015 event with a caption that says: "Hey, Siri, give us a hint". Is there a reason why Siri is used here like this? Perhaps current iPhone users are supposed to ask Siri for some answers as to what the new iPhone could be.
It is not uncommon for Apple to have two big events in the Fall, so perhaps only one big product, like a new iPhone or a new iPad will be announced this time around, and the other will wait. We will see. If you are looking to watch a Live Stream of the event, Tech Radar says that it is possible to head on over to Apple's website and watch it at the time stated above.
