It has been more than a year since Kate Middleton delivered her second baby, Princess Charlotte, and pregnancy rumors have made its rounds online claiming that the Duchess of Cambridge is prepping up for her third baby soon.
In an Us Weekly report, an insider claimed that the royal couple looks forward to “a third baby soon,” adding that it would be possible if the Duchess gets pregnant by Christmas. The source also added that, if the Duchess conceives this year, she and husband Prince William will have to cancer their royal tours until 2017.
If Middleton does get pregnant, it is of great importance to cut back on their royal commitments due to the fact that the Duchess already suffered from hyperemesis gravidarum, commonly known as severe morning sickness. This occurred in her early phases of pregnancy with Prince George in 2012 as well as Princess Charlotte in 2014.
The insider also pointed out that the royal couple is expected to treat pregnancy with great caution during travels due to the Zika virus epidemic that brings on adverse effects in unborn babies, including birth defects.
The interview with Us had also drawn attention to the current situation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The couple has been living at a 10-bedroom house in Norfolk with Prince George being “obsessed with anything with an engine” while his sister Princess usually goes after her mother around the large mansion.
According to the family friend, the couple would have likely been “overwhelmed” if the Duchess gets pregnant for the third time last year. However, this time, it would be the ideal period for them to make their family bigger.
"They've both always wanted a big family," the insider pointed out.
In a separate report by Hello!, the royal couple is expected to head over to Balmoral in the Scottish Highlands for them to have some time off from work and spend family time with each other before going on the royal tour to Canada.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be traveling to Canada for an official visit on September 24 until October 1.
Meanwhile, Kate’s sister Pippa Middleton has also been making the headlines as the author-party planner will be exchanging vows with her fiancé James Matthews soon. In her appearance at the 12th BGC Partners Annual Charity Day at Canary Wharf in London, Pippa flashed a glitzy rockon her ring finger.
The newly engaged Middleton sister said yes to her longtime boyfriend in July. Experts commented that the flashy engagement ring may have cost the hedge fund manager approximately $300,000.
“Pippa is not one to be outdone by her sister, we know that after 'that' dress she wore at the Royal Wedding in 2011,” David Allen, Creative Director of 77 Diamonds.
“Her centre diamond appears to be a 4 carat asscher cut diamond. Given the nature of these step cut stones, the quality is paramount so the stone requires the highest of clarity gradings,” he further explained. “A flawless asscher diamond set in an octagonal halo ring such as this would fetch upwards of £200,000.”
Matthews was rumored to have asked Middleton’s father for his permission to allow him to take his daughter's hand before asking the big question.
"James is a traditionalist and very much wanted to do things properly. That meant getting his future father in law's consent," a friend of the royal couple told the Daily Mail.
