Josh Duggar, the controversial star of the reality show "19 Kids and Counting" and member of the Duggar family, is reportedly planning to go on a world tour to open up about his experiences now that he's out of rehab. However, it is not yet clear if his family, or even his wife Anna Duggar, will support him during his speaking engagements.
Josh, the eldest son in the Duggar family, entered a faith-based rehabilitation center in Illinois on August 25 of last year after he became the center of a controversy that shook the entire clan. Prior to his stint in rehab, reports and Josh's own admission revealed that he had molested underage girls, including some of his sisters, when he was still a teenager. He also admitted to being addicted to watching pornography and cheating on his wife.
Due to the issue, television network TLC pulled "19 Kids and Counting" off the air. Despite the cancellation, Josh's other family members, Jill and Jessa Duggar particularly, have moved on with their own show titled "Jill and Jessa: Counting On."
But, now that Josh is out of rehab, it seems he is also planning on branching out on his own. According to Inquisitr's source, due to the controversies surrounding him, Josh has lost his main sources of income. This is reportedly the main reason as to why he is considering going on a tour, possible around the world, to talk about his experiences in different conservative Christian events.
If Josh does decide to go on a world tour, it's hard to speculate if he will be joined by his family. After all, various reports suggest that many of them have started distancing themselves from this particular Duggar to avoid being associated with him.
But, if there is one Duggar who will stand by him, then that would probably be Anna. As noted by News Everyday, during the height of the controversies and allegations, and even after Josh admitted to cheating on her, Anna maintained her support for her husband.
In addition, even though her friends and family have advised her to get a divorce, she remained her ground and stood by her husband. Her unyielding support could help Josh's image especially if he proceeds with his world tour because it would show the solidarity of their marriage despite the obstacles they went through.
