Metal Gear is one of those huge and complicated video game franchises like Final Fantasy.  The story has been spread out through so many games over the decades that it is its own mythology.  Naturally, fans were anxiously awaiting Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, as it is the creator's last game.  This is what is being said about Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Review: PS4 Bundle, Gameplay, Cheats, and much more.

It should be known that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has been receiving some excellent reviews.  IGN gives the game a 10 out of 10, which is extremely rare for any game that isn't iconic.

For those who are playing the game and need a little "help", there are all sorts of tips and tricks that you can do in a separate article from IGN.  For example, there is a function called "Knock" that causes the base-level bionic arm good for creating a sound that will lure people away.  You can also find a puppy that you can send back to base that will grow up and help you on missions.

There are many ways to use the cheats to discover more of a game that is pretty intricate.  Forbes did point out some problems with the gameplay, comparing it to Far Cry.  There was also a criticism that exchanging David Hayter, the voice of Snake for years, for Kiefer Sutherland, not to mention the micro-transactions and the Fulton surface-to-air recovery system.  The game also has credits rolling after every mission, which usually doesn't happen until after the game is played.  It is a reminder that Hideo Kojima was a creative mind behind the game, which is kind of sad for long-time fans.

It is possible that the leaving of Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima could have roused interest in the franchise.  He has stated that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is the last game, but the franchise could still live on.  Chances are that it probably will, but fans are probably believing that the game quality will not be as good.

Then again, this is Metal Gear, a franchise that has been around since the eighties.  If you aren't familiar with the Metal Gear series, it is about a special forces operative known as Solid Snake who has been attempting to find the titular weapon.  Even though there is a Roman Numeral V in the game's name, the series has several other iterations the number more than five.  In fact, the games follow a certain chronology that doesn't match the individual game's release dates.

If you are interested in playing Metal Gear V: The Phantom Pain for yourself, it has just been released for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, and the PS4.  The PC version will be released on September 15th.  It is possible to purchase a Metal Gear Solid V PS4 bundle, which has a red and gold color scheme with 500 GB hard drive.  The issue is that it is not available in the United States, according to PlayStation Lifestyle.  Anyone interested in this might have to go on eBay where the PS4 bundle is going for a little over $700.
