Microsoft's 12 Days of Deals Is Perfect For Tech Gadgets Christmas Shopping

In time for Christmas, Microsoft is bringing back its 12 Days of Deals. The tech giant is offering huge discounts on several gadgets that include Xbox One, VR headsets, Dell PCs and Windows tablets perfect for the Holiday season.

Based on its name, Microsoft is offering each of the deals on a certain day. You can buy them at 12am PT from their retail stores or online sites in the US and Canada, according to The Verge. The following items will be shipped for free and customers can also return them, just in case.

On the first day, Dec. 5, select Intel-powered PCs will be sold starting at $199. That is up to $1,000 discount. On Dec. 6, you can buy a Lenovo Ideapad 110 for only $199. The budget-friendly Windows-based laptop is $100 less than its original price. It's decent enough for surfing, streaming and playing.

If you are a gamer, there will be a 50 percent discount on select Xbox One games. Be sure to purchase it on Dec. 7. You can also save $250 on Microsoft Surface devices powered by Intel Core M processors like the Surface Pro 4. They will be available on Dec. 8. On the fifth day of Microsoft's 12 Days of Deals, you can save up to 70 percent on select Windows tablets. It's your chance to grab one if you have missed them during the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales.

On Dec. 10, the Windows Premium PCs can be bought around $250 less than their regular prices. There is also a deal on select Xbox Wireless Controllers. You will get a $25 Microsoft Store gift card/code when you buy on Dec. 11. The next day, it's even better with a $50 discount plus two free select games for select Xbox One consoles. Or you can buy discounted Xbox accessories and games.

As for VR headsets, Microsoft will be offering a $100 gift card/code when you purchase an Oculus Rift or HTC Vive on Dec. 13. One of the biggest discounts though is on Dec. 13 as select Intel-powered gaming PCs will cost up to $1,000 less. There is also an option for some Dell PCs. You can save up to 40 percent on Dec. 15. On the last day of Microsoft's 12 Days of Deals, select Surface Pro 4 will have up to $200 discount. Furthermore, you will also get a free Type Cover.
