Just over a week after revealing the cancerous tumors growing on the side of her thyroid are completely gone, CCM artist Natalie Grant announced she plans to resume her tour early next year.
The "King of the World" made the exciting announcement on Facebook.
"So excited to be a part of The Roadshow 2018 Tour!" she said. "I'm starting my vocal rehabilitation next week, and praying and believing my voice will be stronger than ever. Will you pray and believe with me? Hope to see many of you next February or March."
Grant also praised the "amazing lineup," which also includes for KING & COUNTRY, Matthew West, Bethel Music, Zach Williams, and Social Club Misfits.
The world-renowned worship leader underwent surgery last week to remove the tumors, and shared an update on Facebook.
"The pathology results have revealed that it was in fact papillary thyroid cancer," she said. "Now, I had two cancerous nodules inside that right lobe, but pathology has also revealed that the cancer was completely contained within those nodules. So, in other words, they got it all," she continued.
"The doctor's office actually said, 'Congratulations! You have no more cancer in your body!,'" Grant said.
"So, it literally is like the cancer was stopped dead in its tracks," she added. "Not a branch out, no growth, the tested the surrounding tissue and neighboring lymph node, all of which showed no signs of cancer or cancerous cells. All of the tissue was completely clean."
After Grant received a clean bill of health, the singer and her family took a trip to The Berkshires.
"When I found out about the thyroid cancer and surgery, I decided I wanted to take a 'surgery recovery trip' (hahaha) with my people and go do something I've always wanted to do: experience New England in the fall," she said in an update. "So - thank you Jesus for cool air, breathtaking foliage, quaint towns, sacred walks, fireplaces burning real wood and GOOD HEALTH. Xoxo."
Grant also thanked her fans for continually praying for her ever since she announced the diagnoses several weeks earlier.
"Your faith has strengthened my faith and I am eternally grateful," she said. "And thank you to all of you for praying and believing and just storming the throne of God on my behalf."
Throughout the experience, God felt incredibly close, Grant said.
"It just further confirms in my heart and my mind that we experience and learn more about the character of God in the valley than we ever will in a mountaintop," she said. "I've never heard God speak audibly, but I know what His presence feels like, and He's been so kind and so near."
