The Golden State Warriors have been facing criticism since winning the NBA title last season, with fans and followers of the basketball community claiming that the injuries incurred by their opposing teams are the ones that actually led to the championship of Stephen Curry's squad. With the injuries of Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love, the NBA crowd saw LeBron James attempt to singlehandedly bring home the crown to the Cleveland Cavaliers locker room. However, his attempts fell short - a fact that has been pointed out by thousands of believers of King James himself who think that the Golden State Warriors would not have stood a chance had LeBron James' entire crew remained healthy.

Another point of contention among the detractors of the Golden State Warriors is the fact that the West Conference NBA teams had been ridden by injuries last season. However, such may no longer be the case now. The NBA offseason saw the San Antonio Spurs sign former Portland Trailblazers star LaMarcus Aldridge - a move that will undoubtedly see an intense improvement from the team that already has Tim Duncan on the lead. Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Clippers appeared to have focused on bolstering its roster by adding potential hall of fame NBA star Paul Pierce in the team. The re-signing of DeAndre Jordan also fueled the strength of Chris Paul's squad. As for the Cleveland Cavaliers, sources claim that Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love are due back this season. With LeBron James all fired up to get what he feels is rightfully theirs, the Golden State Warriors would be prudent to expect that the upcoming NBA season will not be easy for them.

Although the Golden State Warriors saw the departure of David Lee, the NBA team reportedly took measures to strengthen the performance of Finals MVP Stephen Curry along with Klay Thompson. Meanwhile, Harrison Barnes reportedly turned down the $64 million contract offered by the Golden State Warriors. At the moment, it remains to be seen if Harrison Barnes and the Golden State Warriors will be experiencing the same standoff as that of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Tristan Thompson. While Harrison Barnes is undecided, sources disclosed that Ben Gordon might be joining Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson soon. Ben Gordon is said to be part of the Golden State Warriors in the NBA team's practice facility located in Oakland. Given his performance, it looks like both parties are keen on sealing the deal.

The rumored addition of NBA vet Steve Nash in the coaching staff of the Golden State Warriors will also serve to boost the team's performance. The eight-time NBA All-Star, who remains to be in negotiations with the Golden State Warriors, has nothing but admiration for Stephen Curry.

"As I've told Steph, his skill level is so high that although we'll be on the court together, I don't know how much I can help him on the court," the rumored part-time player consultant for the Golden State Warriors shared in an interview. He added, "But through watching a little bit of film and talking, maybe I can help him with situations. But his skill level is incredible, and hopefully I'll learn as much from him as he will from me."
