Chicago Bulls Rumors and News: Jimmy Butler does little to clear up relationship with Derrick Rose HoopXpress/YouTube

The offseason is almost over but it seems the Chicago Bulls are not yet finished in jumbling their roster. According to recent reports, the Bulls are considering trading away Jimmy Butler to the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for Taureen Prince, DeAndre' Bembry, Paul Milsap and a draft pick.

During the past couple of months, the NBA community saw how the Bulls scrambled to create significant changes in their roster. This includes trading away Derrick Rose and Justin Holiday. They also lost Joakim Noah and Pau Gasol in free agency.

In return, they were able to get a few quality players such as Dwayne Wade, Rajon Rondo, Robin Lopez, Jose Calderon and Jerian Grant. At first, it would seem that the Bulls were mimicking what other teams have done with their own rosters, which was to fill their lineup with younger and faster athletes.

However, with the acquisition of veteran stars Rondo and Wade, it seems the Bulls' plan went out the window, according to Soaring Down South.

Now, it seems the Bulls are considering trading away Jimmy Butler. This move could potentially hurt the Bulls because they would end up losing a quality shooter. Also, Butler is coming from a great year especially after winning a gold medal at the Olympics with Team USA.

Still though, the Bulls could make this trade work as long as they are able to negotiation a proper exchange. In this case, they could engage in a deal with the Hawks. Through this deal, they will be able to get a total of four players.

Although each one of the athletes mentioned above couldn't probably match up to Butler individually, the Bulls will at least get quality backup players for the other guys on their roster.

In addition, through a trade involving Millsap, Prince and Bembry, the Bulls will get players who can the characteristics of their current roster. Specifically, they'll get young players in the form of Bembry and Prince.

Also, through Millsap, the Bulls will have a veteran player who can partner with Rondo and Wade.

It is not yet confirmed if this deal will really push through especially since the Bulls greatly value Butler. The trade might also not work well with Wade since he views himself, Rondo and Butler as the current leader of the Chicago team.

"We have three strong personalities," he told Chicago Tribune. "I don't know yet where that's bad. We have three leaders, and other guys are going to lead in their own ways."
