Following Kevin Durant's decision to join the Golden State Warriors, it seems other teams in the NBA have also started forming their own super rosters. According to new reports, the New York Knicks are also doing this by targeting to get Chris Bosh from the Miami Heat.

During the offseason, the Knicks made a surprising move by getting Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah from the Chicago Bulls. Along with veteran Carmelo Anthony, the Knicks have certainly achieved creating a strong lineup by adding Rose and Noah.

But aside from these players, it seems the Knicks are also interested in signing Bosh. But, since Bosh still has a contract with Miami, this means the New York organization will have to offer a couple of players to close the trade, according to The Bit Bag. Another option for the Knicks would be to give up a couple of future draft picks to the Heat.

This potential trade scenario between the Knicks and the Heat certainly work if not for one major issue. As of the moment, it is not yet clear if Bosh will be allowed to play next season. Since February of this year, Bosh has been off the court after a blood clot was discovered in his leg.

Back then, he said in a statement that he's closely working with the team's doctors to monitor his condition and ability to play.

"I know there have been many questions regarding my health and when I will play again," he said according to the Sun Sentinel. "My situation this year has never been life threatening. I am feeling great and currently I do not have deep vein thrombosis."

"Together with the Miami Heat, I am working with doctors, exploring the best precautionary treatment options and taking every necessary step to make sure I am healthy for myself, my family and my team," Bosh added.

But, over five months after his last health update, there are no details yet if Bosh will be able to return for the 2016-2017 NBA season. There have also been rumors about Bosh being forced into medical retirement because of his condition.

If the Knicks pursue a trade with the Heat for Bosh, then the team could end up getting a player that has a very high risk of sitting out the rest of the season.
