NBA Rumors: Stephen Curry Fuels Cleveland Cavaliers Feud; Kevin Love, Kyrie Irving over LeBron James Dictatorship?

The Cleveland Cavaliers are not showing any signs of toppling down the Golden State Warriors. Despite the excitement generated by a healthy roster, which now has LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love, the NBA Finals runner-ups still failed to stop Stephen Curry and his crew. The Golden State Warriors, which has been earlier predicted to fall in the hands of the Iman Shumpert squad, still snagged a victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers. In fact, the feat was even a blowout win of 132-98.

While the Cleveland Cavaliers are understandably disheartened over the embarrassing loss, King James might be in danger of losing the respect of his teammates. Before the NBA season, the former Miami Heat star had been quite vocal over his disappointment on Kevin Love's performance in the past. James shared that the former Minnesota Timberwolves star should strive to recovery quickly to finally contribute to the games. However, it looks like the entry of a healthy Love still failed to stop the Golden State Warriors.

"We have a lot of things to get better at," shared Love following the Cleveland Cavaliers' disappointing performance against the Golden State Warriors, according to Fox Sports. "That's going to take a lot of guys looking themselves in the mirror, and it all starts with our leader (LeBron James) over there and dwindles on down."

As for Irving, the Cleveland Cavaliers star noted that the team no longer has any excuses left for their abysmal performance. Admitting that the Golden State Warriors were the better team in their recent game, Irving shared that Klay Thompson and his group "played like the champions."

He shared via Cleveland.com, "They definitely played like the champions. They came in with a chip on their shoulders, something to prove tonight, caught us basically while we were down. We don't want to make any excuses for ourselves. They came in and just kicked our ass."

Irving further noted that their 132-98 loss to the Golden State Warriors will haunt them for the rest of the NBA season. He said, "I know that loss stuck with all of us. But a lot of us that didn't have the performance we wanted to against the reigning champs, that loss is going to stick with us and we have to have that chip on our shoulder."

Meanwhile, King James also disclosed that their team's chances of dominating the Eastern Conference this NBA season might be gone by now. Describing their performance against the Golden State Warriors as "trash," James shared that the Cleveland Cavaliers are not a "great team" at the moment. He also slammed claims that they will be the team going into the NBA Finals this season, calling the reports "absurd."

"Our last game against Golden State, you can kind of throw it in the trash," James said via CBS Sports. He added, "When I [talk about] us playing at a championship level, that doesn't automatically guarantee us [playing] until June."

The Cleveland Cavaliers leader went on to say, "I think we're a good team. But I don't think we're a great team right now. We've got to continue to get better. I really think it's absurd to think about May and June; it's not guaranteed, man."
