According to new reports, an NBA team is already hoping that the relationship between the Golden State Warriors' Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant will not go well. If this happens, that NBA team, which is reportedly a title contender, will go after Curry in the hopes of signing him.

The 2016-2017 NBA season has not yet kicked off which is why it's hard to speculate at this point how Curry will respond to playing with Durant on the same team. This was supposed to happen with Team USA but Curry backed out of the opportunity to play for the group due to personal reasons.

But, with the Warriors looking like a super-team, Ric Bucher of Bleacher Report claimed that all of the NBA franchise are hoping that Durant and Curry will have problems with one another. He then said that one particular team is looking to benefit in this possible scenario.

B/R EXCLUSIVE: A contender is planning to poach Steph Curry from Dubs if chemistry with Durant turns 'poisonous'

"There are 29 teams hoping the chemistry between Kevin Durant and Steph Curry is poisonous, but there is one team that is planning for it," Bucher said in his report. "I've been told by one of the league's title contenders that they hope to poach Curry."

"They see KD taking the last-minute shots that were once Curry's domain," he added. "Their pitch will be, 'Come to us, and you can be the man once more."

Bucher, however, did not mention the name of that particular team. But, as noted by The Washington Post, this can be narrowed down to a handful of franchises. One theory is that the title contender that Bucher was referring to are the Cleveland Cavaliers. It could also be the Toronto Raptors, the team that the Cavs faced during the Eastern Conference Finals.

Or, Bucher might be referring to the Oklahoma City Thunder. The team might be looking to get its revenge on the Warriors for taking away Durant.

But then again this is only a rumor. After all, there's a very big chance that Curry and Durant will work out well in the Warriors simply because the latter joined Golden State not to become famous, but to be with a team that can further enhance his career.
