The Dallas Cowboys have been reportedly struggling ever since the departure of DeMarco Murray. As the NFL star now goes about his routines in an effort to acclimatize to the Philadelphia Eagles' culture, the Dallas Cowboys remain ill at ease with the remaining players supposedly set to replace DeMarco Murray's vacated spot. It appears, however, that the entire NFL offseason and the preseason games made the Dallas Cowboys realize that DeMarco Murray is not easily replaceable.

Looking into the roster of the Dallas Cowboys, the remaining NFL stars eyed to possibly take over the spot of the now Philadelphia Eagles star are Lance Dunbar, Darren McFadden and Joseph Randle. Although the Dallas Cowboys initially claimed to be confident in these three men, it looks like the NFL team might be reconsidering their options - a theory that was reportedly proven true especially in light of the recent addition of Christine Michael to the team.

Sunday saw the departure of running back Christine Michael from the Seattle Seahawks locker room and entry into the Dallas Cowboys roster. In exchange, the Seattle Seahawks got a conditional 2016 draft pick as compensation for the release of the guy deemed as the sub of Marshawn Lynch in the NFL team. Christine Michael is the first pick of the Seattle Seahawks in 2013. He was the 62nd overall pick during that NFL season. However, his two seasons with the Russell Wilson team saw him only as the third man behind Marshawn Lynch and Robert Turbin.

With three NFL stars already signed as running backs in the Dallas Cowboys roster, however, fans and followers of the team now question the capacity of Lance Dunbar, Darren McFadden and Joseph Randle. The addition of the former Seattle Seahawks running back gave rise to doubts that the three Dallas Cowboys stars aforementioned may not be capable of performing at par with that previously exhibited by DeMarco Murray.

 "We feel good about all those guys," assured Dallas Cowboys coach Jason Garrett on Monday, according to USA Today. He went on to say, "It is not something that we feel is a deficiency. We feel good about Darren McFadden and how he's played. We certainly feel good about Joe Randle and what he has done for us and Lance Dunbar has been a very productive guy for us. We feel like bringing Michael in here will add to the mix."

Garrett echoed the same sentiment in the official press release of the Dallas Cowboys. He said, "We just wanted to make our team better by adding a guy like that and getting him into our structure and trying to teach him how we want to play and see if he can help our team." The Dallas Cowboys coach added, "You try to do that at the running back position, but you really try to do it throughout your team."
