The Green Bay Packers pitched in yet another move to help Aaron Rodgers cope with the loss of Jordy Nelson in the upcoming 2015 NFL regular season. Coming off from a departure from the New York Giants, the Green Bay Packers reunited with wide receiver James Jones. With the addition of the wide receiver in the Aaron Rodgers roster, it could be said that the Green Bay Packers are eyeing to provide a support system for Randall Cobb and NFL preseason standout Davante Adams.

"There's a lot of experience there, [a lot of] knowledge, and he can take the heat off a lot of us," shared Davante Adams, referring to the news of adding James Jones to the Green Bay Packers rosters, according to ESPN. He added, "He's a respected guy in this league, so he can take the heat off me and Randall and just open up a lot of different opportunities to go four wide and things like that."

The returning wide receiver in the Green Bay Packers roster will be spending his ninth season in the NFL with Aaron Rodgers and the rest of the squad. Although James Jones was acquired following his stint with the New York Giants during the 2015 NFL Preseason, the 6-foot-1, 208-pound wide receiver was first drafted by the Green Bay Packers during the 2007 NFL Draft. At that time, the man touted to help the Green Bay Packers get over the loss of Jordy Nelson had been the 78th overall pick and the third round pick of the said NFL team. He then went on to play his first seven NFL seasons with the Green Bay Packers. However, the year 2014 saw the wide receiver in the Oakland Raiders locker room. He then moved on to the New York Giants the next year and is now back with the first team that drafted him - the Green Bay Packers.

His recent stints in different NFL teams, however, caused somewhat an alarm among the fans and followers of the Green Bay Packers. Without Jordy Nelson to aid Aaron Rodgers in leading the NFL team to victory, some spectators feel that James Jones might not be the most reliable athlete to stand by the quarterback at this point. "Well, he's a good football player, let's not lose sight of that," pointed out Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy, referring to the capacity of James Jones to follow through with his promise. McCarthy added, "You can go watch his tape through preseason, watched his tape playing last year. He looks like James Jones. I'm glad he's back."
