NFL Rumors: Cleveland Browns Shopping Around Joe Haden

After missing a couple of games in the 2016 NFL season, cornerback Joe Haden is reportedly in danger of getting traded by the Cleveland Browns.

Haden made his return from a groin injury last Sunday in the game against the New York Jets, which served as the latest disappointing game in the team's losing streak. Prior to the recent match, Haden missed the Week 6 and 7 games against the Tennessee Titans and Cincinnati Bengals due to a groin injury.

So far, Haden has been a disappointing player for the Browns. He was previously regarded as one of the most effective cornerbacks in the league and even made two appearances in the pro bowl. However, last season, he was only able to play in a total of five games after he was placed on injured reserve in December due to concussion issues.

With the trade deadline of the NFL just around the corner, combined with the Cleveland organization's abysmal record, it seems the team's front office is already feeling the pressure of carrying out drastic changes in its roster. In other words, they might turn to a trade deal for Haden in exchange for a better player who could boost the squad's offensive or defensive plays.

Still though, these rumors don't mean that Haden is already past his prime. He can still do damage on the field and can probably even do better under the proper guidance and coaching program.

As for the athlete, he is still determined to push through the rest of the season with the Jets. Despite his recent injuries this year, he strongly believes that these are just minor one and will not prevent him from playing in the upcoming games this season.

"These are just little minor things that I'm going to be able to get fixed and going to be out there and write my own 2016 season how I want to play out," he said. "I feel like I still have a lot of time."

"We still have 10 games ahead of us," he added. "We've still only played one division game this year, so we've got a lot to still shoot for. I'm just trying to do whatever I can to get back out there. I feel like I can still make this season a successful season."
