At this writing, the Detroit Lions and the Seattle Seahawks will be facing each other tonight at CenturyLink Field.  The Lions are currently 0-3 against Seattle's 1-2, but it will be a tough win, even though Seattle's Marshawn Lynch won't be playing this evening.   It is clear that something will have to be done to make certain that the Lions get more wins for this season, so are trades an option?  Here are the latest NFL Trade Rumors about the Detroit Lions.

A recent tweet from Aaron Wilson has revealed that the Lions tried out defensive ends Jordan Williams, Jonathan Massaquoi, and outside linebacker Lawrence Sidbury.  It was also revealed on ESPN that Joique Bell is ailing, and Zach Zenner is going to get the opportunity to play against Seattle tonight.

In a separate article from ESPN, it seems that Detroit Lions are "the last winless team in the NFL".  Now the Lions have to go up against last year's runner-up and Superbowl winner from two years ago.  The prediction does not appear positive for the Lions as they face the Hawks, and perhaps some trades could do some good for the team this season and the next.

There is very little to report as far as the Detroit Lions Trade rumors are concerned, at least at this present time.  There was a recent report on Field Gulls which was a scouting report with the Pride of Detroit which discussed Matt Stafford.  This quarterback has been very much criticized, and much of it stems from not properly reading the defesne and adjusting the protection before the snap.  He does have Calvin Johnson and Golden Tate working for him, and has the advantage of making throws that only 10 percent of quarterbacks can make.

If the Detroit Lions is looking to a trade out, it would have to be Stafford if Lions' fans had to pick as of right now.  The fans have recently burned his Jersey, according to CBS Sports.  Stafford's wife, Kelly, recently took to Instagram to show her support for the team.

"Although many in this city have already turned their back on the Lions and Matthew, we will never stop supporting Detroit," Kelly wrote. "No matter how many #9 jerseys people burn or how many negative things people say about these players they will continue to fight for a championship for this city."

It is possible that the Lions might continue their loss for the Seahawks game and beyond, finishing last in the season.  If that happens, you had better believe that the Lions will want to be sharpening their claws for next season with a complete overhaul on the roster, possibly with Matt Stafford.  However, Stafford is fifth in the quarterbacks this NFL season, so the Lions might not be too anxious to part with him.
