Few games that are not attached to some pre-existing franchise have the hype of Hello Games No Man's Sky.  The game is all about getting in a starship and exploring a universe with over 18 quintillion planets.  These are all worlds with their ecosystems, and a final frontier that one cannot explore in one's lifetime.  The biggest question is when is the game coming out, but there could be something about No Man's Sky's release date at Sony's Paris Games Week.

According to Tech Times Articles, there is some good news and bad news on the release date of No Man's Sky.  The bad news is that the demo launch for No Man's Sky at the GameCity Festival has been postponed.  The good news is that Hello Games, developer of the possible game-changing space game, has another event scheduled at Sony's Paris Games Week on October 27th

Hello Games may finally announce the long-awaited release date of No Man's Sky at this gaming event.  It couldn't come any sooner, as a recent error from Amazon sent out emails to consumers who pre-ordered No Man's Sky, saying that their orders would arrive at them by October 28th.  Amazon stated that the email was "sent by mistake" and "we still haven't been given a release date for this item by the publisher".

Amazon could have just sent out the release date ahead of schedule, and they could be correct, which would mean that No Man's Sky will be arriving sooner rather than later.  If that does happen, that could be something good for Sony, as it will be able to compete against the release of Halo 5: Guardians on the competing Xbox One.

The game promises to be like no other as it opens up several galaxies of possibilities to the player.  There have been space exploration games like this in the past, but never on such a massive scale.  With so much to do, the only game that can compare is the runaway hit game from Mojang, MinecraftMinecraft is the property of Microsoft, and it would appear that Sony wants to keep No Man's Sky for its system.  There are reports that No Man's Sky will be released on the PC and PS4 on the same day, but it is unknown if it will be coming to the Xbox One at all.

A twenty-minute trailer of No Man's Sky has appeared on MoviePilot which shows all gameplay and every trailer, and this has greatly excited potential buyers of this space exploration game.

There is a rumor that No Man's Sky and Sony's PlayStation VR, would be released on the same day.  Considering how well this game would work with this Virtual Reality system, it sounds like a good match.  However, the PlayStation VR isn't expected until next year, so perhaps No Man's Sky won't show up until 2016 as well.  We'll see what happens next week.
