The release of the latest One Direction album, titled Made in the AM, fans and followers of Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Liam Payne have been wondering about the possible inspiration behind the tracks featured. While no direct confirmation has been provided by the English boy band singers, some people believe that Taylor Swift may have played a role in the creation of some of the songs - that is, the Bad Blood singer is seen as an inspiration for one or two songs on the said album.

"I think people interpret songs in different ways," shared Styles, referring to the pressing question on whether or not the song Perfect in their Made In The AM album is about his former girlfriend, according to People Magazine. The controversial 1D member further shared, "I'm never going to tell someone what a song's about because I feel like it's up to them."

Styles' co-writer though, Tomlinson, had been a bit more open regarding the possibility of using one of their previous failed romances as the inspiration for Perfect. The dad-to-be also offered a response, albeit a bit coy and vague, about the rumors that Swift served as the inspiration for the said single. 

He shared, "I think everybody draws from personal experiences, so of course to a degree I'm sure that influenced some of it. Down to specifics to who that song is exactly about, that's fan's interpretation, I suppose."

As if the speculations on the track Perfect were not enough, some fans are now adding yet another single that might have been influenced by the relationship between Swift and Styles. The song, titled Olivia, is said to be Styles' ode to the Shake It Off star.

According to Julian Bunetta, one of the co-writers of the One Direction boys in the album Made In The AM, the song Olivia was the brainchild of Styles.

Bunetta said via Rolling Stone, "This one is very near and dear to my heart. Harry, John [Ryan, co-writer] and I were in Westlake and trying to write one thing and came out with this. I don't know how it came out. We couldn't write anything for a couple days, and we couldn't focus. We were trying to write things, and they were bad. Then we would just laugh and order food and hang out."

"Then all of a sudden, at the very end of the day when Harry was going to leave, he was sort of saying the chorus phrase, so we just sat there and wrote it really quick. It came out really, really quick. That one was so fun because it has a full orchestra we recorded at Abbey Road: four trumpets, four trombones, three french horns, flute, clarinet, harp. That was an incredibly adult, musically indulgent song that we all had a lot of fun making. It makes me so happy," the collaborator further shared. As final word on the song speculated to be yet another piece dedicated to Swift, Bunetta added, "But 'Olivia' was Harry's genius."
