PlayStation Plus Free Games December 2016 Predictions: Saints Row IV, Wolfenstein: The New Order Could Be Lined Up for The PS4

Your PlayStation Plus subscription comes with free games each month.
What is in store for PlayStation Plus subscribers in the next month? We take a few stabs at the possible titles to keep you entertained on the cheap -- or free, rather. Sony

Hey, there might not be such a thing as a free lunch in this world, but what about free games? Now you’re talking. And I am not referring to those cheap clones of existing titles on the Apple App Store or on Google Play. Rather, I am talking about legitimate, full blown titles that do not need any kind of ‘freemium’ model to keep you hooked. PlayStation Plus subscribers are able to check out free titles every single month, which hails from a mixed bag of random games. Of course, one might feel as though there were more duds than hits on the free games offered to date, but at least it is a time of surprises! With the holiday season fast approaching upon us, what can PlayStation Plus expect to play for free this December?

Saints Row IV: Re-elected
Nothing official has been announced just yet, so speculations will have to do for the moment. One of the interesting titles that might actually make the cut this December would be an open world game, known as Saints Row IV: Re-elected. It does not hurt that Saints Row IV: Re-elected happened to be one of the popular titles that have long been clamored after by those who look forward to the PlayStation Plus free games lineup throughout this year. This particular version will come with the entire DLC collection available, and Grand Theft Auto fans will automatically be able to resonate with this franchise, thanks to the open world concept.

Knack
Knack would be the next title that has paid its due on the rumor mill when it comes to being a free title for PlayStation Plus December 2016. ThisGenGaming reported that while this is a game that hails from 2013, it would still be worth playing this holiday season since it is a family friendly title, and the children are sure as heck going to be happy mashing on the controller with their parents in the same room. Not to forget the fact that Knack is also able to run on the recently introduced (and more powerful) PS4 Pro.

Gravity Rush 2
Gravity Rush 2 might also make the cut for PlayStation Plus in December 2016. It might not make too much sense though, as the game has yet to be released officially until January 20th, but the demo version has been made available for free where Japanese subscribers are concerned. Perhaps the free part here for December 2016 will also mean just the demo only, and not the whole game, as part of a promotional line up.

Wolfenstein: The New Order
Last but not least, we would be extremely happy to see Wolfenstein: The New Order make the cut for the PlayStation Plus program this December. After all, with whispers of a new Wolfenstein title being lined up for a 2017 release, it would make plenty of sense to drum up more hype for this franchise by making available Wolfenstein: The New Order for free next month. It will help us veterans relive the good old days, while providing a teaser of sorts for a new generation of gamers.

Expect the final list of free games on PlayStation Plus this December 2016 to be revealed some time next week, so take what we have discovered with a pinch of salt!
