PlayStation Plus subscribers always get excited when it comes to the unveiling of PlayStation Plus Free Games for the month, and we know the ones for October and can only speculate for the ones for November 2015.
The PlayStation blog has a complete list of what games are available for October 2015. There are two games made for the PS4 and PS Vita. The first is Super Meat Boy, which was expected to be in the lineup. If you are not familiar with Super Meat Boy, the player controls Meat Boy as he tries to rescue his girlfriend Bandage Girl from Dr. Fetus. The gameplay is a difficult platformer as Meat Boy uses his ability to jump and escape a lot of very sharp obstacles.
The second game available for the PS4 and PS Vita is Broken Age. Broken Age, according to the Steam Store, is "a family friendly, hand-animated, puzzle-filled adventure game with an all-star cast that includes Elijah Wood, Jack Black, and Masasa Moyo". This "coming of age" story was designed by Tim Schafer, who has designed other hit games like Grim Fandango, Day of the Tentacle, and a few Monkey Island games.
For both PS4 and PS3 is Unmechanical: Extended. According to Grip Games, the game is a puzzle adventure game that "combines tricky puzzle solving, alluring exploration, and an engrossing atmosphere". Unmechanical: Extended takes place in a world of flesh, rock, and steel, and the action is about a robot trapped in an underground complex, who must make his way up to freedom by solving a lot of puzzles.
For the PS3, it is possible to download Chariot. The official website describes this game as a co-op platformer that can be played alone or with a friend. The one or two players take the roles of a brave princess and her beautiful fiancée as they move the departed king's coffin-on-wheels through 25 levels set in 5 underground environments. Yes, that is an unusual premise, and what makes it even more unusual is that occasionally the king's ghost will guide the two players along the way.
There are two games available for the PS3 and PS Vita that include Kickbeat and Kung Fu Rabbit. Kung Fu Rabbit is what it sounds like, a game where the player plays a rabbit who knows Kung Fu. In this case, the main character must go on a quest after all of the baby rabbits are abducted by unknown invaders.
As for Kickbeat, it also has a Kung Fu theme, but it is a rhythm game. It is also a fighting game as well. It sounds interesting, and the Steam Store says it features fully 3D characters and high-energy music and allows the user to put their own music in for custom KickBeat tracks.
As for the month of November 2015, there isn't any word on that, and probably won't be by the end of the month. It is too bad that PlayStation isn't doing the Vote to Play like they did for the month of September. Then we would have at least some idea of what games could possibly go up for free. Feel free to leave a comment below for what game you would like to see available for free in November 2015 for PlayStation Plus, whether it be an established AAA game tied to some big gaming franchise or an indie game that was just recently created.
