Nintendo recently revealed the Pokémon Sun and Moon, so it is not surprising that some fans are asking for the release date of Pokemon Z as well as Pokemon Go. Here's the latest round-up of update about Pokémon Z, Pokemon Go Release Date and news.
Today's reports say Pokémon Go launching seems to be more definite than PokemonZ. Polygon reported Niantic will have a field test for Pokémon Go at the end of March. On another hand, Pokemon Z release date is still sketchy, so it is safe to assume that the game will not be coming out very soon.
Interested gamers can now sign-up to join the Pokemon Go beta program. However, the registration is open for local Japanese players only. It is reported that participants should make sure they have an Android or iOS device.
Take note that the Japan-only field test will not be able to accommodate all of the registrants. In addition, the selected participants are required to treat Pokémon Go's contents as confidential information.
Niantic aims to improve the current build of the game through the beta program. The game developer will reveal the foreign expansion plans for the field test in the next months to come. We previously reported Pokemon Go will be released first in Europe, North America and Japan. After that, the game will be available on other parts of the world such as Asia, South America and Africa.
While Pokemon Go beta program would be coming soon, the planned presentation for the game at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco will not take place, as per reports from Gamespot. Niantic decided to skip the presentation to prepare the game for a field test.
Pokémon Go is an augmented reality game from the Pokémon Company and Niantic. The game has a companion device called Pokémon GO Plus, which will help players to discover, battle and capture Pokémon in real-world settings. The device has specialized Bluetooth settings that notify user when there is a Pokémon is nearby.
The Pokemon Go Plus is being developed by Nintendo, but there's still no information about its release date or price.
GameSpot said the augmented-reality game from Niantic will be released on the App Store and Google Play this year for free.
With that being said, let's wait for further announcements from the Pokemon Company and Niantic. Stay tuned with Gospel Herald for more updates.
