Pokemon GO Plus
Pokemon GO Plus is an accessory for the Pokemon GO game.  Pokemon

What is expected about Pokémon in 2016?  Quite a lot so far.  I mean, it is the two decade anniversary of the franchise, and the Super Bowl commercial was a very big publicity stunt.  What fans are expecting was not what they were getting, as Pokémon Z will not be available (possibly ever) but there will be a Pokémon Sun and Moon.  They will also be getting an application for iOS and Android for mobile devices with Pokémon GO, where players can search for Pokémon in real life places.  This is what is known about Pokémon Sun and Moon, as well as Pokémon GO release dates and news.

According to iDigitalTimes, there has been some more information revealed following the big video game convention of E3 2016 two weeks ago.  Apparently, the next batch of Pokémon Sun and Moon will be revealed on various Pokémon sites on July 1, around 9 AM EST.

As far as what will be revealed, there isn't much known so far.  Already, there has been some leaked Pokémon from June's CoroCoro magazine, with Iwanko and Nekkoala.  There is going to be some information on the Alola Region, and you can see for yourself on the English Pokémon YouTube channel or the Japanese channel if you speak the language.

As for Pokémon GO, the beta testing is going to officially end on June 30, according to Gamerant.  This testing started a few months ago in Japan, but only a few months ago in the United States.  This means that the game will not be playable, but it is believed that all the feedback from testers is going to really help the development of the final product, which should be available as of some time in late July.

We believe that Pokémon GO will have a late July release date due to the showing off of the Pokémon GO +, a wearable companion device that allows access to the game without pulling out the smartphone.  Since that device is due out at the end of July, it would certainly make sense to have the game out at that time, wouldn't it?

According to Vine Report, the Pokémon GO Plus is available for pre-order for a price of $34.99.  This features an iconic Poke Ball with a teardrop shaped design, looking like a point placed on a GPS device.  It connects to a smartphone, and it notifies the player whenever a nearby Pokémon are.  From there, you can apply the motto of "gotta catch 'em all".  Just so you know, the specs of the Pokémon Go Plus requires Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, as well as at least Android 4.3 for Android or iOS 8 for the iPhone.

So that is an end of July release date for Pokémon GO, but as for Pokémon Sun and Moon, that has a specific release date of November 18, 2016.
