To keep up with the latest technology, many game developers decided to release remastered titles on the current generation consoles. Capcom's Resident Evil 4 and Irrational Games' BioShock series are expected to arrive on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this year. Here's the latest round-up of update about BioShock and Resident Evil 4 new features, price and release date.
Resident Evil 4 is described by many players as the best game in the series, and it will be coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on August 30. Developer Capcom announced the release date on its blog post.
Resident Evil 4 follows Leon Kennedy's mission to rescue Ashley Graham, the president's daughter. She has reportedly been kidnapped by a group called Los Illuminados. The game was initially released in 2005 on GameCube and then on PlayStation 2. It was also one of the first third-person shooter game with an over-the-shoulder camera.
GameSpot reported the PS4 and Xbox One version of Resident Evil 4 comes with the original game's bonus content and new elements from later versions. Some of the new features include side story of Ada Wong and Mercenaries mode.
It is interesting to note that this year marks the 20th anniversary for the Resident Evil franchise. To celebrate, Capcom released the fifth and sixth entries of the series on PS4 and Xbox One. Those games are now available for $20. Resident Evil 4 will also have the same price tag once it becomes available on August.

The remastered BioShock 2 will come with the critically-acclaimed Minerva's Den DLC.
BioShock Infinite, the latest in the series, will also have remastered version for gaming consoles, but not on PC. However, it will offer Burial at Sea episode packs, Columbia's Finest pack and Clash in the Clouds pack.
According to 2K's official blog, the remastered Bioshock series will become available for $59.99 on Sept. 13. All of the games in the collection will be playable on PS4 and Xbox One.
