If you are looking into possibly investing in a new laptop or tablet for this holiday season, then you might want to look into Lenovo's product line, particularly the Yoga Pro 2 or Yoga Pro 3.

Both the Yoga Pro 3 and Yoga Pro 2 have a similar ability of having four modes.  The first is laptop, which is your typical keyboard on desk while screen is at angle mode.  The second is tablet, with the keyboard folded up completely and the touchscreen ready to use like the average tablet.  The third is tent, with the tablet in an upside-down V formation with the touchscreen on the outside.  The fourth is the stand, which tilts the screen away from the keyboard, making it good for just viewing content.

Those four modes are easily Lenovo's biggest selling point, and the Yoga Pro 3 has made some improvements.  All four of the modes of the Yoga Pro 3 use the Watchband hinge, which is crafted from hundreds of individual pieces of aluminum and steel.  This hinge has been compared to Rolex bands and allows for more stable touch usage as it can lay flat at 180 degrees.

The Yoga 3 Pro also boasts at being the world's thinnest convertible laptop at 2.62 lbs and the thickness of a half-inch.   The screen is a touchscreen display at a very super high-resolution of 3200 x 1800, and it has JBL speakers.

Inside the Yoga 3 Pro is an Intel Core M Processor, and it claims to have faster Internet speeds at up to 3 times quicker than normal WiFi.  The surface of the Yoga 3 Pro also has a magnesium matte finish that can resist fingerprints.

The difference between the two versions of the Yoga Pro is that the Yoga 2 Pro claims a 9 hour battery life on a single charge, whereas the Yoga 3 Pro can only claim 7.2 hours.  The Yoga Pro 2 is thicker at 0.61 inches, and heavier at 3.1 lbs.

Reviews compare the Yoga Pro series to the Surface Pro 3 and MacBook Air, and the light weight of these laptop/tablets is enough to receive positive reviews.  One reviewer of the Yoga Pro 3 is quoted as saying "Most manila folders I've carried are heavier and have more girth".

The price of a Yoga 3 Pro starts at about $1,299.99, with the Yoga 2 Pro price starting at $949.00.  So far, most Black Friday deals, including those at Best Buy are actually more expensive than the prices on the Lenovo website.  This will probably change before the holidays begin and there will be a lot of money taken off the sticker price.
