Good news for Street Fighter fans out there. Capcom released the March update for Street Fighter V. The updates is expected to bring new game modes, new costumes, and a new character. Now, here's what is currently known about Street Fighter V March DLC release date and rumors on the web.

It is reported that the new update will introduce all-new features such as 8-player lobbies, an online rematch option, In-Game Fight Shop, and Challenge mode.

One of the March Update's contents that will excite gamers is the In-Game Fight Shop. According to IGN, gamers can now purchase additional game content like costumes and characters using their Fight Money.

Next is the challenge mode, where earlier combos can now be picked up easier than ever. This also includes tutorials for all levels of gamers and trials for combos of all the characters. With this feature, gamers can now learn the special moves of each 16 characters that appear in Challenge Mode.

Additionally, the update for online rematch options can now be used for 2 out of 3 sets in casual and ranked matches. And also, the improvements in Battle Lounge will definitely love by avid Street Fighter fans.

Meanwhile, additional costumes for characters were added through the update. But only Season Pass owners can have a chance to access premium costumes for DLC characters until Zenny is added to the game.

But the update for costumes doesn't end there, because Capcom finally gave all gamers an opportunity to use Chun-Li and Ryu story mode costumes. The game publisher used this giveaway as an apology gift for the gameplay issues that gamers encountered.

On the other hand, the addition of Alex with its story content is one of the anticipated updates of the game. Alex is one of the most requested characters for Street Fighter V, according to Capcom. The game developer made a lot of effort to make the character appealing to old and new gamers.

Take note that Alex can only be used as a free trial to all gamers. The reason is real money transactions are still not ready. This means that any cosmetic items bought for Alex during the game will stay on gamers' accounts.

Lastly, March update includes major bug fixes that gamers reported in the game. One of the fixed bugs is not getting an EXP from casual matches.
