With all the money that Marvel has been making with their Avengers movies, as well as films based on solo characters from its comic books, many have complained that DC Comics should be doing the same.  It is quite apparent that 2016 could be a make or break year for DC as it plans to bring to big superhero films to the big screen.  Batman v. Superman will happen in March, and then there will be Suicide Squad.  Of the two films, Suicide Squad is a darker film that will really put the DC Universe on display as it will focus on the villains from the comics, playing the role of heroes.  There are reports that a new trailer (different from the one released last summer) for Suicide Squad will be released, but it hasn't appeared online as yet.

Heroic Hollywood reports that there is or will be a new trailer for Suicide Squad, and it is supposed to be released this month.  As stated before, this trailer has apparently been seen by some, but there is no copy available for streaming online.

It is reported that the trailer uses Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody".  With the opening few lines, there are shots of characters like Captain Boomerang, Harley Quinn, Deadshot, and then Deadshot is taken from his cell after a quick fight.  Deadshot then goes into a room with Diablo and Killer Croc, and Captain Boomerang is taken in with a body bag and fights his way out.  Apparently, this is how these villains are summoned to play the role of heroes.

From there, the impromptu leader Rick Flagg is looking over the files of the files of these misfits.  Briefly introducing them by what he sees on their dossiers.  Once Flagg says: "this is the deal", and it is assumed that this is where Rick Flagg tells the group that the bad guys are about to be the good guys.

After some very brief action shots, we finally get to see a shot of The Joker, this time, decked out in a gold jacket saying "I can't wait to show you my toys".  In typical trailer fashion, there is more action with the Suicide Squad logo flashed as well as a tagline of WORST HEROES EVER.

This honestly doesn't sound like a trailer made up by a fanboy, but it is strange that sources are saying that this trailer exists, without any confirmation thereof.  There isn't any word when this trailer will be shown, but it would be smart to put it in front of Batman v. Superman, even if it goes online by that point.

A recent shot of the fully assembled team appeared earlier this year. According to IGN, it was a tweet by the film's director David Ayer, and they are, from left to right, Slipknot (Adam Beach), Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney), Enchantress (Cara Delevingne), Katana (Karen Fukuhara), Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Deadshot (Will Smith), Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) and El Diablo (Jay Hernandez).

The film will be in theaters on August 5, 2016.  There has been talk that the film could achieve R-Rated status on account of its dark subject matter, and that Batman will be making an appearance.  If this works, it could set a darker standard for superhero movies that Marvel only has in its Netflix shows.
