Major details about the latest season of ‘Teen Wolf’ are yet to be announced, but MTV has decided to release the show’s first trailer for its sixth season at the San Diego Comic-Con 2016.

As confirmed by executive producer Jeff Davis, the supernatural series will come up at this year’s Comic Con with which the network will make the first trailer available for fans. Although the premiere date for ‘Teen Wolf’ season six has not been announced, MTV is expected to share more details about the upcoming installment.

The convention will be carried out from July 21 (Thursday) to 24 (Sunday). However, fans will have to wait until July 6 before its schedule of events will be published. As such, the date and time of the ‘Teen Wolf’ panel is yet to be announced.

There have also been no announcement as to which cast members will attend the event.

The production for ‘Teen Wolf’ season six is currently on a short break; Davis confirmed that the cast and crew are yet to finish filming the second half of the new installment.

"We're picking back up again to do two more weeks of shooting in August," Davis added.

In an interview with Seattle PI, the showrunner also described the sixth season as a "ghost story." He shared how there will be a number of World War II scenes, involving a Nazi werewolf as the main antagonist. Such story might be used in more than one episode.

Davis also pointed out that they may go back to the story of the fox and the wolf in the upcoming episodes.

Some fans speculated that the production break could be associated with actor Dylan O’ Brien’s accident on the third installment of ‘The Maze Runner’ franchise- ‘Maze Runner: The Death Cure.’

Such rumor has not been confirmed and Davis refused to give an official statement about O’Brien’s present condition as well as the extent of his role as lead character Stiles in ‘Teen Wolf’ season six.

Series star Tyler Posey, who plays Scott McCall, said that he wished he could have been with O'Brien after the accident and help out during his recovery. The 24-year-old actor recalled that he was shocked by what happened.

"It was very scary for a little bit, I was really worried being here, him being in Vancouver. I was pretty racked up for a little while, but he's good. He's back home," he said.

Posey already promised the show’s fans that the new installment will be an exciting one.

"'Teen Wolf' always tries to push the envelope and do something creative and something we've never done before. We're trying to do that again," Posey said in an interview with E! News at the 2016 MTV Movie Awards last April.

"I can't give you much at all. I can't give you anything, really, but it's going to be good," the actor added. "I'm directing an episode sometime this season. I don't know what yet but that's exciting. I'm producing and it's just going to be good."
