Last week on NBC's The Voice, ten contestants took to the stage to sing their hearts out to America. After a surprising elimination round, there are now eight singers left in the competition who will sing tonight.

Coaches Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani, Pharrell Williams and Blake Shelton pushed their team members to the limit. After last week's elimination of Reagan James of Team Blake and Anita Antoinette of Team Gwen, Levine has three members left on his team, followed by Williams and Stefani having two members each and Shelton having only one survivor left on his team.

According to Kelly Sinkavitch of mjsbigblog, here are the top eight contestants competing in tonight's vote:

Craig Wayne Boyd - Team Blake

Matt McAndrew - Team Adam

Luke Wade - Team Pharrell

Taylor James Williams - Team Gwen

DaNica Shirey - Team Pharrell

Chris Jamison - Team Adam

Damien - Team Adam

Ryan Sill - Team Gwen (Saved by America from Bottom Three via Twitter vote)

With the exception of Danica Shirey, the rest of the contestants going forward on this season of The Voice are men. However, according to Emily Blake of Entertainment Weekly, Shirey might have what it takes to reach the finals and win.

"I'm not saying the guys in this competition aren't more talented than our departing ladies," Blake wrote. "The last woman standing is Team Pharrell's DaNica Shirey, who I think could very well defy the odds and take the crown."

Blake also mentioned that Williams had a talented performer in Luke Wade. She noted that Wade is a strong contender "with palpable charm to boot."

As for Levine's team, none of his three remaining members have been into the Bottom Three. Blake thinks that Levine's entire team might survive this week and are formidable opponents.

"Jamison's likely this team's weakest link, but even so, Team Adam doesn't look to be going anywhere," Blake wrote.

Blake argues that Sill of Team Gwen has to make better song choices to advance to the next round and to avoid being in the Bottom Three, which has happened twice in a row so far. However, she notes that Taylor John Williams of Team Gwen could make it thanks to his "stellar voice" along with "the whole indie-guy thing going for him."

Although Shelton has only one contestant, Craig Wayne Boyd, left in the ring, Entertainment Weekly notes that Boyd has something else going for him besides the votes of all country-music fans going forward.

"Not only does he have a powerful voice, but a distinct and commanding personality, and he's not afraid to show it," Blake wrote. "Plus, as an only child, he's going to get a whole lot more attention than the rest of the kids."

The top eight performers on Season 7 of The Voice will compete tonight at 8 p.m. ET on NBC, with the results being aired tomorrow at the same time. Although the episodes are not carried live online, viewers can stream this week's episodes on Hulu the day after they air on NBC.
