The world is definitely a funny place to live in, especially when you have all sorts of different characters around. Most of us would have to work hard to obtain enough money for a downpayment for our house, before going to the bank to apply for a mortgage only to spend the next 30 years of our lives slaving away to meet the monthly payments. Not so with this lady in China. She made full use of her Eve-like charms to string around 20 different boyfriends in order to purchase the recently released iPhone 7. What she did afterwards was unprecedented -- she proceeded to sell off all of the iPhone 7 handsets, and used the money received to purchase a house. How one is able to juggle 20 different boyfriends is truly amazing -- I would presume that all of them do not know one another? Talk about a premium multitasker example!

Property in the large cities and metropolitan areas in China are not exactly cheap, which is why news of this on Chinese social media last week made plenty of waves. A user who goes by the moniker of Proud Qiaoba posted this story on the hugely popular Tian Ya Yi Du forum. The story involves Proud Qiaoba’s friend Xiaoli (also a handle and not her actual name), where Xiaoli requested each of her 20 existing boyfriends to buy the iPhone 7 for her as a token of their love.

Xiaoli, whose hometown lies in southern Shenzhen, did not bother to open up those 20 iPhone 7s given. In fact, she decided to sell all of the 20 iPhones to a mobile phone recycling site that is known as Hui Shou Bao for a whopping 115,010 yuan -- $17,020 thereabouts after conversion, using the money as downpayment for a house in the countryside. This move obviously surprised Proud Qiaoba and the rest of her friends, when Xiaoli revealed to them how she managed to raise enough funds to actually purchase a roof over her own head.

Proud Qiaoba shared, "Everyone in the office is talking about this now. Who knows what her boyfriends think now this news has become public. Her parents are getting old and she might be under a lot pressure hoping to buy them a house... But it's still unbelievable that she could use this method!"

Filial piety still plays a huge role in holding together the threads of a traditional Chinese family, although Xiaoli might have burned 20 bridges in her life after news of this has gone mainstream. Taking into consideration how the iPhone 7 was launched only on September 16, she has certainly moved swiftly and convincingly among her 20 boyfriends -- no mean feat at all. From what we know, Xiaoli has decided to remain low profile after word of her act went viral as she values her privacy.

We do wonder what would have happened, however, if she actually held on a little while longer and turned on her wily charms to convince her 20 lovers to gift her the iPhone 7 Plus instead, she might have gotten more money to purchase a larger piece of property.
