The epic battle between two legendary DC superheroes will happen on March 25. Aside from Superman and Batman, the much-awaited movie will feature the famous Amazonian princess--Wonder Woman. Now, we'll you give the latest news and updates about Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

The Israeli model-actress Gal Gadot will play as Wonder Woman. "Not only is Gal an amazing actress, but she also has that magical quality that makes her perfect for the role," movie director Zack Snyder said in a statement.

Recently, the official Wonder Woman social media accounts were created, and it showed the brand-new Wonder Woman movie logo. The move is a preparation for the hero's appearance on the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Wonder Woman also appeared in the second trailer for the movie. The clip showed how she saved Batman and Superman from an attack from Doomsday. After that video, many fans are asking about her role in the movie.

According to Paul Shirey, the columnist from JoBlo, Wonder Woman will appear as Diana in the film initially before she takes her role as a superhero.

For those who are unfamiliar with the name, Diana Prince is Wonder Woman's secret identity. She has many careers, ranging from an army nurse to a government official, to conceal her true identity and to get information from different people. In Batman vs. Superman movie, she will be connected with wealthy and powerful people, like Lex Luthor and Bruce Wayne.

Furthermore, Wonder Woman will side with Batman when the two superheroes collide. However, in the final battle it will not be Batman versus Superman.

"[Wonder Woman] will have a fair amount of screen time and will team up with Batman and Superman for the final battle," according to Shirey. The trio will go up against an unnamed villain who may maybe working with Lex Luthor.

Who is this threat? Doomsday has been widely speculated, with Metallo, Darkseid, and Brainiac as possibilities.

Nevertheless, seeing the team of Wonder Woman, Superman and Batman fighting together on the big screen sounds totally awesome. Also, expect an astonishing battle with Zack Snyder as the director.
