WWE 2K16 Hall of Fame 2016 DLC Release Date, Future Stars DLC Problems On Xbox One And PS4

WWE 2K16
WWE 2K16 has a small problem with its "Future Stars" DLC. 2K Games

So far, it has been good for WWE 2K16, as the game has given wrestling fans what they promised in being a WWE fighter on the video screen.  There has been a lot of great DLC ready to support it as well, but there have been reports that the latest DLC, the Future Stars pack has been experiencing problems on the Xbox One and PS4.

According to Gamespot, there is a problem with the newest DLC pack for WWE 2K16, also known as Future Stars.  The Future Stars pack includes Samoa Joe, as well as tag teams of Los Matadores (Diego and Fernando) as well as Blake and Murphy, and it became available as of January 26th for $8 or part of the $24.99 Season Pass.

The problem with the Future Stars DLC has to do with saving after opening and closing, as the calendar and rankings reset to what they were before installing the patch and DLC. There are also reports of save date for Universe mode being erased.

As to resolving the problem, an official post on 2K forums states that "We're aware of an issue some users are experiencing with Universe Mode save data connected to the Future Stars Pack DLC.  After an initial investigation, we've found this issue only affects PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game. PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 users will not experience this issue. If you are an active Universe Mode player on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, we recommend waiting to download the Future Stars Pack until we fully investigate and resolve the issue. Thank you for your patience."

So far, there is no word on when the fix will be delivered, and it is unclear if 2K will be able to restore the lost data that players report having been erased.

Still yet to be revealed to players is the last DLC pack for WWE 2K16 is 2015 Hall of Fame Showcase, which allows playable matches that include: "Macho Man" Randy Savage vs. Jake "The Snake" Roberts; Rikishi vs. The Rock; Alundra Blayze vs. Paige; Larry Zbyszko vs. Arn Anderson; Tatsumi Fujinami vs. Ric Flair; The Bushwhackers (Butch Miller and Luke Williams) vs. The Natural Disasters (Typhoon and Earthquake); The Outsiders (Kevin Nash and Scott Hall) vs. Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray).  Hopefully, there will not be any bugs in this particular DLC.

Other DLC packs that have not been reported to have bugs include The Legends pack is available for $9.99, and allows the player to become WWE Legends like Big Boss Man, Dusty Rhodes, Lita, Mr. Perfect, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, and Trish Stratus.   The WWE 2K16 Accelerator has also been released for $1.99, giving players instant access to all unlockable content available in the game, excluding the downloadable content.

There is also the New Moves Pack, which costs $3.99.  This gives the player access to 30 new movies, including the Corner Enzuigiri (made popular by WWE Diva Nikki Bella), Avalanche Ram (made popular by WWE Diva Paige), Sidewinder Suplex (made popular by WWE and NXT Superstar Kevin Owens), Standing Crossface Chickenwing (made popular by WWE Superstar Stardust) and Dragon Sleeper (made popular by NXT Superstar Finn Bálor).
