WWE 2K17, NBA 2K17 Release Date, Features and Rumours: WWE 2K17 Still in Production; NBA 2K17 to Be Released Around September

2K Sports is set to release WWE 2K17 and NBA 2K17 this year. However, the 2K Wrestling game is still in the production, while NBA 2K17 is expected to be launched this September. Here's the latest round-up of update about WWE 2K17, NBA 2K17 release date, features and rumors

The game developer of the two long-running sports game franchises is looking forward to launching the new installments this year. There are reports that 2K Sports is going to roll out WWE 2K17 in October, but its official release date is still a mystery to the fans. Meanwhile, several tech sites reported that NBA 2K17 is slated to be on the gaming shelves in September before the new NBA season starts.

As for other news about the two 2K games, we will start with WWE 2K17. The upcoming installment of WWE 2K franchise will undergo rescanning of some wrestling superstars for the game. According to an International Business Times report, some of the WWE wrestlers like Dean Ambrose, Sheamus, Big Show and Alberto Del Rio will be rescanned for WWE 2K17. It is also indicated that the mentioned wrestlers were not present in some Smackdown's tapings. So, their rescanned features might be true in the upcoming 2K game.

There are also reports that 2K Sports allowed fans and players to suggest their own move sets for the wrestlers in the upcoming game. According to the company's post, they said that they wanted the help of players to improve the features of the upcoming WWE 2K game.

On the other hand, we all know that Kobe Bryant will be on the cover of the upcoming NBA 2K17. In partnership with game developer Visual Concepts, 2K Sports took the opportunity to honor the Black Mamba in the new installment of NBA 2K franchise.

Furthermore, Gotta Be Mobile reported that Bryant's "likeness" will be included in the Legend Edition of NBA 2K17. The cover features NBA's Future of Hall of Famer in three different poses. On the left, Bryant is celebrating his team for winning an NBA championship. On the right, there is a picture of his memorable jump shot. On the center, he is raising his right hand as if to bid farewell to his beloved sport.

Also, there are also extras in the new edition of the game. Legend Edition will feature 30,000 of Virtual Currency, a MyTeam bundle that includes three different backs of MyTeam cards, and much more.

NBA 2K17 Legend Edition is now in for pre-order. It costs $79.99 on Amazon and only available for Xbox One and PS4.
