The Amazing Race Season 25 Finale
Which of the four teams will win?

On December 19, 2014, The Amazing Race will reach its finale with, for the first time in the history of the show, four teams competing for winner.  The four teams are Maya Warren and Amy DeJong, Misti Raman and Jim Rama, Bethany Hamilton and Adam Dirks, as well as Professional Wrestlers Brooke and Robbie.

Of course, reality shows are famous for being spoiled by social media as well as dedicated web forums, in which both television fans and leakers can spout all manner of spoilers.  In fact, we at the Gospel Herald reported last month that the final three teams returned to Los Angeles to complete the final leg of the race.  "Based on the website's spoilers, the final teams in the quest for first place are Maya Warren and Amy DeJong, Misti Raman and Jim Raman, and Bethany Hamilton and Adam Dirks."

So what can be expected for the finale?  Well, the teams are all very winded from the heat in the Philippines, so the final challenge will really take its toll, whatever it may be.  Since this is the first time there have been four teams in the final round, it will be interesting to see how the other three lose. There is no description of the plot on imdb, but with the episode entitled "All or Nothing", one can't help but wonder if a single event on the show will decide who will be the winner.

As far as the winner's prediction, it could be anyone's game.  Anyone's game except for professional wrestlers, who we had previously stated are out of this match.

Fan favorites Bethany Hamilton and husband Adam Dirks would create quite a stir if they pulled it off.  Bethany Hamilton was already a sensation before she appeared on the show as the story of how she lost her arm to a shark was made into the movie Soul Surfer.  If they were to win, then Bethany, along with Adam Dirks, a former youth minister and substitute teacher, will have a greater platform to spread their message of inspiration.

As for Maya and Amy, their win will easily boost their careers.  These "sweet scientists" from the University of Wisconsin will have their school cheering them on, not to mention their fans.  These two were very close to elimination, but they have been the underdogs of the show as they managed to take first or second place in practically every leg of the race.

Then there are the other fan favorites, Misti and Jim Raman, the married dentist team.  As a couple, they have much history with traveling, fitness, and adventure, and they have been great contenders in spite of coming close to elimination.  Many have this couple pegged for the win, but surprises have been known to happen, even on reality television.

The Season finale for Season 25 of The Amazing Race will air on Friday, December 19, 2014 at 8:00 PM (7:00 PM Central) on CBS. Fans can watch the live stream video online free by clicking here.
