GTA 5 Online Heists Rockstar Video Editor DLC Release Date and News Update

The Rockstar Video Editor DLC
New Video Editor coming in September 2015. Rockstar

So far, Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 5 is really soaring high with the releases of the Heists DLC earlier this year.  However, there will be a new DLC that might not give any new adventures, but will provide PS4 and Xbox One players to share their adventures.  With it will be a new DLC set with a very soon release date, and the Rockstar video editor is going to strike a good chord in the hears of GTA V fans.

The GTA V Forum revealed some major details about the new Rockstar video editor for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and these new features will make their way to the PC version as well.  This video editor allows players to create their very own short films within Rockstar's gaming engine.  The films can range from a comedic viral video to something that is fully scripted and could be looked at as a serious movie.  No doubt a lot of these videos will go viral and increase the game's popularity, which is already very, very high.

This is what will be seen as far as the features go on the Rockstar Video Editor for GTA V.  There will be an Ambient Audio and Sound Effects Library which will allow you, the director, to add some kind of soundtrack for atmospheric effect or some Foley sound effects to really bring a scene to life.  Speaking of being a director, there are ways to make a film using an enlarged minimap as well as the power to freeze the chosen time of day settings.  There will also be "Snapmatic Integration" which allows the exporting of a still frame at a marker point so you can find that perfect camera angle.

With these tools, it will be easy for the director/player to copy and paste scenes with different audio tracks together.  There will also be a way to make titles and credits using new fonts and styles.  This isn't all that the Rockstar video editor will do as more features keep getting added to it daily.

According to iDigitalTimes, the Rockstar video editor will arrive in the next GTA V update, which means that the video editor is only just part of what will be a bigger update.  There is a prediction that there could be a stunt race creator in order to make some serious races and challenges, like being able to stack proper and possibly mega-ramps, loops and even parkour courses.

It is expected that the next DLC won't be Ill-Gotten Gains Part 3, but a whole lot of stuff like weapons, cars, and clothes.  There is also rumor of a another GTA 5 2X RP and 2X payout, not to mention single player mode.

It is expect that the Rockstar video editor will arrive on GTA V sometime in September, but there is no more specific details than that.
