It's only less than four months before the 2015 finally bids goodbye to pave way for a new year. Still the video gaming community is still waiting for the official release date of No Man's Sky, the "biggest video game" ever to be release in terms of its sheer size.

However all is still not lost. Hello Games has announced that No Man's Sky game creator Sean Murray would be giving a 90-minute exclusive preview and present more details about the much-anticipated video game at the World Trade Center in New York on Oct. 3.

Hello Games devoted a special event page for the Oct. 3 event dubbed 'Blast Off' at the New Yorker about the space exploration game.

New Yorker writer Raffi Khatchadourian will have a one-on-one interview with Sean Murray to discuss details on the development of No Man's Sky and hopefully more information about its launch date or even a hint when players could actually play the indie title.

In May, Khatchadourian also conducted a one-on-one interview with Murray to talk about No Man's Sky which is set to be released exclusively for PlayStation 4 (PS4). Fans who want to watch Murray's 90-minute presentation can buy tickets for the event costing $45, reported VC Post.

No Man's Sky is a massive and the biggest title to grace the gaming community but still has no official release date. However, loyal fans who are waiting for the game with a massive 18 quintillion worlds, can now start to pre-order the game.

Amazon UK announced a posting of No Man's Sky listing for the PC and PlayStation 4 (PS4) platforms for approximate $73. The price of the game is rather higher than what gamers are expecting for this indie game developed by Hello Games.

Although many would say that the $73 price tag for an indie game is a tad too high, the sheer size and scale of No Man's Sky makes up for its steep price. Consider these facts, there are 18,446,744,073,709,551,616 planets in the universe. If you visit each one for a single second, it will take you 585 billion years to see them all, so it may as well be.

Project Morpheus Delaying No Man's Sky

Murray hinted that No Man's Sky would be available to virtual reality consoles including Sony's Morpheus and the Oculus Rift. The game that features18 quintillion planets, will be released early in the Morpheus app if it delve into virtual reality.

"It's something we're thinking about. Morpheus, Oculus," Murray was reported as saying by Games Radar. "There's nothing more cool and sci-fi than VR and a big procedural universe." "I don't know what I'm allowed to say... I think that, for the people who want to just explore, and even for the space combat and things like that, it would be a good fit. Let's put it that way."
