With the Chicago Bears in need of another quarterback, one name seems to come up as to who will replace him: Tim Tebow.  Yes, the man who was a sensation for the Eagles years ago with his "Tebowing" is rumored to be coming to Chicago, and Bears Fans want him, as does Texas. 

According to The Inquisitr, Bears fans have flooded social media with requests that the front office replace Jay Cutler as the starting quarterback with Tim Tebow.  Some of these fans are wanting Tebow to be the starting quarterback even after Jay Cutler returns. 

Apparently, a recent report from NFL.com had the governor of Texas reportedly campaigning for the Dallas Cowboys to sign Tebow, in order to replace the injured Tony Romo, who is planned to miss about eight weeks of the regular season due to his fractured collarbone. 

What makes the Chicago Bears request interesting is it comes from the fan base, pleading for a change to be made not just with Jay Culter, but with the backup quarterback Jimmy Clausen.  Clausen went up against the Seahawks on their own CenturyLink Field last Sunday and lost 0-26, which means that Chicago fans will really want some new blood tossing the ball. 

Sports World Report says that what happened with Clausen on-field at the Seahawk game was "no small accomplishment" as he got a shutout while having no turnovers.  The report also states that Tebow is doing his best to stay positive in his attempt to rejoin the NFL: "Obviously you come to terms because I believe there's a plan for everything," he's said. "You can't believe that God has a plan for you in your life and it's a perfect plan and have doubt at the same time, they just don't go together."

Tim Tebow's history is quite an interesting one.  His rise to fame began in 2007 after he won the Heisman trophy back when he was playing for the University of Florida.  In 2011, when he began as a starter for the Denver Broncos.  He is seen as instrumental for helping the Broncos win their first AFC West title and first playoff game since 2005 against the Pittsburgh Steelers in overtime.  Tebow was then traded to the New York Jets as the Broncos acquired Peyton Manning, a free agent at the time.  Tim didn't get to play for the Jets and was then released after drafting Geno Smith.  In 2013, Tim signed a two-year, non-guaranteed contract with the New England patriots, but was cut from the team shortly thereafter.  This year, he signed a one-year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles, but then was released to be a free agent. 

So what is next for Tim Tebow?  The player has not come out and said whether or not he will try again in the NFL, but unless that Chicago Bears deal opens up, it could be the end for him as far as football playing is concerned.  He has made his return to the SEC network working as an analyst, and he'll have a great career there. 

Another quote from Tebow about whether or not he will join the NFL has him stating:  "I've said this a few times, I don't know what the future holds, but I do trust who holds my future."
