Joanna Gaines is urging her fans not to believe everything they read as rumors continue to swirl around the "Fixer Upper" star and her husband, Chip.

In a new entry posted to her Magnolia blog, Joanna dismissed a widespread report that she's leaving her hit HGTV show behind her for a new beauty-based business.

"So many things are happening right now and it feels like we are moving at the speed of light," she said. "At times, it's even hard to keep our own parents in the loop. At this point in our career we can honestly say, we've heard it all - from reports of us moving our family to Vegas to us having more or less children than we actually have,"

Joanna said that at the end of the day, she and Chip have "learned it's impossible to control all the information that's out there."

The HGTV star then went on to address a series of rumors and reassure fans she has no plans to leave "Fixer Upper".

"And just in case you were wondering, YES! We are currently filming Season 5 of the show. No! I am not getting into the business of facial creams. And No! We are not expecting baby #5," she said, adding, "And no worries, believing some of these stories happens to the best of us."

She encouraged those who want to know what's going on to follow her and Chip's social media accounts (find those here, here and here), sign up for their newsletter, and keep up with their blog.

"These are the spots where we'll tell you about our new partnerships, projects, and even personal new," she wrote. "Always remember: if you're reading big, exciting news about us, and we did not confirm it on our official sites, then proceed with caution."

Meanwhile, Chip is dealing with rumors of his own: Lewis and Richard Clark, his former partners, last week filed a $1 million lawsuit against Chip and others in Waco, Texas, claiming that the TV star bought them out of the real estate company without telling them that he had made a deal with HGTV to air Fixer Upper.

Chip's attorney said, "We are confident that these claims will be found to be meritless, and it is disappointing to see people try to take advantage of the hard work and success of Chip and Joanna Gaines."

Over the weekend, Chip took to Twitter to weigh in on the controversy: "Fyi: Ive had the same cell # 15 years.. same email for 20 yrs," the "Fixer Upper star", 42, wrote. "No one called or emailed? 4 years later 'friends' reach out via lawsuit.. Humm."

In a follow-up tweet, he quoted John 1:5: "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it."
