Despite the controversy still swirling around his family, "19 Kids and Counting" star Josh Duggar took to Instagram to wish his wife, Anna, a happy birthday and commemorate their seven-year engagement anniversary.

The photo, uploaded on Tuesday, showed the couple, both 27, seated in a restaurant booth with a dessert bearing a single lit candle.

"Happy Birthday to my beautiful wife @annaduggar," Josh captioned the image. "We're also celebrating our 7 year engagement anniversary today!"

Jim Bob and wife Michelle also offered up birthday wishes to Anna on Facebook on Tuesday, writing, "This is a young woman we love so dearly! Anna is not only a wonderful wife and mother but she is a dear daughter-in-law to us and a precious friend. I'm so touched by her steadfast faith in Christ and her kindness at every turn. When you pray for your children growing up you always think about who they will marry and who will end up joining your family. Wow, we are so thankful that God brought Anna into our lives. Anna, we love you so much. Happy, happy, happy 27th birthday!!!"

Over the past several weeks, various members of the Duggar family have slowly broken their media silence since news broke that Josh was investigated in 2006 for molesting five underage girls as a teen.

The molestation scandal was first brought to light in a report by InTouch on May 19. Soon after the news broke, Josh turned in his resignation to the Family Research Council and apologized for his "wrongdoing".

Meanwhile, numerous advertisers removed their support from the show, and both Hulu and TLC quietly pulled episodes of "19 Kids" for an indefinite period of time.

In a statement to PEOPLE, Anna, who is expected to give birth to a baby girl in July, likened Josh's actions to "past teenage mistakes" and explained that she is confident that he "had humbled himself before God and those whom he had offended."

She also thanked those who helped Josh "in a time of crisis," saying that if it weren't for their help, she "would not be here as his wife - celebrating 6 1/2 years of marriage to a man who knows how to be a gentleman and treat a girl right."

In light of the recent scandal, Josh, Anna, and their three children are moving away from their five-bedroom home in Oxon Hill, Md. While it is unclear at this time where exactly Josh is moving his family, some believe the family will return home to Arkansas, as he recently purchased a house in his home state.

The Duggars have also emphasized that regardless of what happens with "19 Kids and Counting," they will be "just fine" as they are not a "television family."

Speaking to Fox News host Megyn Kelly last month, Jill (Duggar) Dillard, 24, who was one of her brother's victims, said that she was grateful that her family was on the show.

"We always just had the mindset of, this show is just a window of opportunity that God has allowed our family to be on television and to share with other people our lives."

She added: "We do love our film crew. They're like family to us. We'll see. We'll see what life brings. We don't know at this point."

Jessa (Duggar) Seewald, 22, who was also one of her brother's victims, echoed her sister's sentiments and explained that "We're not a TV family."

"We're a family that just happened to be on TV," she said. "Life will go on."
