Since April of this year, there have been a lot of rumors as to what the color rush uniforms of the NFL teams will look like once the 2016-2017 season begins. But now, a new leak has revealed the color of the uniforms that all NFL teams will be playing in during Thursday games.

According to reports, these color rush uniforms were made by Nike. Originally, they were supposed to be revealed in April after the schedule for the next season has been finalized, according to Rod Wood, the president of the Detroit Lions.

"All teams that play on Thursday this year will wear a color rush uniform," he told the Detroit Free Press. "The roll out of the color rush uniforms for all teams will occur when they announce the schedule."

However, April quickly passed by and the NFL did not make any formal announcement regarding the color of the uniforms. Wood then said that the reveal would probably come next month.

"I wish I could comment on it, but probably later in July the NFL's going to allow us to roll out what the plans are for 2016 and I'll have some comment at that point," he said. "I thing they want to do everything at the same time so I'm honoring that request."

But, last week, the NFL Leaks posted on Twitter an image of the color rush uniforms assigned for the various teams. The leak appears to be some kind of memo but even though it carries the logo for the NFL and Nike, it's is not yet confirmed it's authentic.

But, if the leak is true, then sports fans can get an idea of the colors that the teams will be wearing on Thursdays in the upcoming season.

For instance, according to the memo, the Lions will be donning a red-colored uniform, which seems like a throwback to what the team wore from 1948 to 1950. Similarly, the leak suggests that the San Diego Chargers will be wearing powder blue color rush uniforms, which is reminiscent to the team's colors before owner Alex Spano arrived in 1984.
