Roddy White has been a free agent in the NFL for some time now. Although other teams will greatly benefit in signing the wide receiver, one of the franchises that could possibly end up getting him is the Minnesota Vikings.

Since 2005, he has been with the Atlanta Falcons after getting picked by the team during the first round of the draft. During his time with the team, he was able to collect a total of 808 receptions, 10,863 receiving yards and 63 receiving touchdowns, according to Bleacher Report.

Because of this record, he has been regarded as one of the leading wide receivers in the league. However, in March of this year, the Falcons decided to release White and he has been in free agency limbo ever since.

This may seem surprising especially since he is veteran athlete who is more than capable of elevating the plays of a team but one of the factors that could be hindering other franchises from signing him is his last few years in Atlanta.

After spending so much time with the team, White began to see fewer games as the years went by. It isn't exactly clear why the Falcons did this since he has remained relatively healthy and almost injury-free during his time with Atlanta. But, it could be because the team has been favoring younger players over White.

However, this doesn't mean that White's prime is already behind him. He can still do well in games when teamed with other effective players. As to where he could end up next season, Inquisitr noted that one of the teams that would benefit from signing him is the Minnesota Vikings.

The team just came from winning the NFC North division against the Green Bay Packers. It could then hope to continue this victory by forming a stronger roster. And, with White on board, he could easily work with quarterback Teddy Bridgewater with the former helping the latter showcase his skills as an effective passer.

In addition, the Vikings will also be able to boost its wide receiver lineup by placing White alongside Laquon Treadwell, Jarius Wright, Charles Johnson and Stefon Diggs.
