For those who have an affinity for tennis shoes, particularly for those of the Air Jordan collectors editions,  then you probably already know about the Air Jordan 4 retro, Legend Blue.  The Air Jordan 4 Retro release date is set to hit this weekend, and the price of the Air Jordan 4 Retro is also set.

According to the Latino Post, the Air Jordan 4 Retro is set to be released this Saturday, and it will come in both "Legend Blue" or "Columbia" editions, and they will be listed as the White/Legend Blue-Midnight Navy colorway of the classic model.

We have already reported on the Legend Blue before with the release of the Air Jordan XI version.  Sneaker news reports that the "soft launch" of the design X Air Jordan 1 on December 27th did not end the release of Air Jordans.  In fact,  2015's release of the Air Jordan 4 will be "setting the pace of the year of footwear releases".  It will be available on January 10, 2015 at 10 AM EST for a price of $190, $140 for gradeschool sizes, $80 for preschool sizes and $60 for toddler sizes.

The Legend Blue motif was so popular that Nike Kicks has stated that it "pretty much owned the end of 2014", which is why the Air Jordan 4 Retro is placed to really poised to make some serious shoe sales.  The Air Jordan 4 has tumbled white leather with an upper white midnight navy and headlining shade for filling in the accents, midsole, and branding.  The iconic Jumpman silhouette of Michael Jordan flying through the air to make a slam dunk appears on the top of the tongue, the heel of the shoe, as well as the bottom of the sole.

If you go on Nike.com as of this writing, you will discover that the price is about $200 and it is sold out.  You will also discover the history of the shoe as it was originally released back in 1999, and the Air Jordan 4 Retro colorway returns.

Fans of the Air Jordan collection are going to be very pleased with the "remastering of retro sneakers this year" according to Jordan Footwear Vice President Dave Schechter.  Sole Collector also reports Schechter saying that "we [Nike] are going to be remastering our whole retro line starting Spring 15. We are going to be remastering our whole retro line starting Spring 15, it's comprised of a couple different factors:  One, we have the most highly qualified colleagues in Asia at the factory level who are working on our retro products. We have really high standards for production and quality controls. That's one big part of it, and that kicked in last year actually, so we've been doing that for a while."

In addition to this relaunch of the Retro 4, the Jordan Brand is also slated to receive an improved edition of the Air Jordan XX9, Nike's flagship model of last year.  The Air Jordan XX9 will come out in Black/White-Dark Grey-Gym Red colorway, featuring dark grey based upper part combined with red laces and linings along with a white Jumpman logo.  Like the Air Jordan 4 Legend Blue, it will appear on Saturday, January 10th, but with a different price of about $225 per pair.
