Android Version 6.0 (also known as Android M or Marshmallow) has been officially released for about two months. Google rolled it out to their Nexus devices first, but a lot of Android users want to know when it will be coming to their Android device, such as those from Motorola. This is what is currently known about the Android M Version 6.0 Marshmallow Release Date for Motorola Moto G 2014, 2015; Moto X 1st Gen, 2nd Gen, 3rd Gen, Moto E on carriers such as Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, US Cellular, and T-Mobile.
Motorola is usually pretty good about getting to its Android updates. Considering that it used to be part of Google's family, and the company doesn't really do a lot to alter Android after it rolls out. According to Android Authority, the Moto X Pure Edition 2014 is receiving its Android 6.0 update. This is the unlocked edition, so it could vary depending on your carrier. Trusted Reviews states that the Moto X users in India are starting to see the Marshmallow update hit, so it will be receiving a wider release soon.
There were reports that Moto E 2015 edition was not going to be receiving and Android upgrade, which left its users very disgruntled. After all, the budget handset was promised to receive timely Android updates. Motorola may have changed its initial plan to launch onto certain handsets, and the Moto E 4G LTE capable model will be updated in Canada, Latin America, Europe, and most of Asia, with China being excluded.
In addition to the Moto X Pure Edition 2014 and the Moto E 4G LTE, the Official Motorola Blog has a list of what devices will be receiving the update to Android 6.0.

A recent report on Pocket-Lint has stated that the 2015 Moto X Style (Third generation) and the 2014 Moto X (Second generation) have begun their rollouts in Brazil and India. As we have shared before, the Moto X 2014 is receiving its Over-The-Air (OTA) update, and it looks like it is happening in both the United Kingdom and the United States. It looks like the approval process for the 2015 Moto X Pure Edition (Third Generation) is going on, so this model is probably the next to receive its update, assuming that it hasn't already. Oh, and there is also news that the new Moto X Force received the OTA update.
The issue with Motorola is they might be faster to rollout the latest version of Android; they don't necessarily have a list with release dates. Therefore, you can expect to see your Motorola device getting its update when it gets it.
