New devices on display for the March 21st Event? Apple

We have previously reported that Apple will probably have their March 15 event that was creating a lot of buzz on March 21st.  So assuming that the latter date is true, what will Apple have on display to brag about this spring 2016?

Paste Magazine states that there will be four devices of interest on display at the Apple March 21st event, or around the week thereof.  It seems that the new iPhone, new iPad, new Apple Watch straps, and new MacBooks are the predictions that are confirmed by many sources.

Normally, Apple waits until the fall to unveil newest iPhones in September.  This is probably still the plan, as the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus were revealed last September in 2015.  It stands to reason that the next thing to come will be the iPhone 7.

However, there are rumors that this spring could reveal a new type of iPhone, or rather, and older and smaller one.  This would be one with a 4-inch screen, made for those that are not liking the trend for larger screens (the iPhone 6S has a 4.7-inch screen and the iPhone 6S Plus has a 5.5-inch screen).

This phone could also be known as the iPhone 5SE (or iPhone 6C), and it would be identical to the iPhone 5S released back in 5S.  It will probably have Apple's A9 and M9 processors and some features from the iPhone 6 as an advanced camera system, ability to take Live Photos, always-on Siri activation, and the NFC chip for Apple Pay.

Then there is the new iPad.  It was odd that Apple didn't announce anything last fall about the iPad Air, but focused all their attention on the big iPad Pro. This time, there could be an iPad Pro introduced that could be a new iPad Air.  It is all about the naming, but any new iPad product will gain attention.

It is said that the new iPad will have a 9.7-inch screen and have a Smart Connector for Apple accessories like a Smart Keyboard and Apple Pencil, as well as an A9 processor, and a new camera system with a rear flash.

As far as the Apple Watch is concerned, most sources are not pointing to an Apple Watch 2.0.  In fact, Apple has been pretty mum on the sales numbers of this product, but most believe that there will be a lot of new accessories like straps and such unveiled.  This would make the smartwatch less like a new iDevice and more like an actual watch.

The last item that it seems like everyone wants to hear about is the new MacBook Air and MacBook Pro for 2016.  This actually might not even be revealed at the March 21 event, but might have to wait until Apple's WorldWide Developer's Conference (WWDC) in June.  All rumors point to Skylake processors for these new laptops, so count on that, whenever they get revealed.
