The Arizona Cardinals and the Oakland Raiders will face each other on Sunday (August 30) for the Week 3 of the 2015 NFL preseason games. Playing host to the Cardinals, the Raiders will welcome the opposing team at O.co Coliseum in Oakland for the preseason game scheduled at 12:00 pm (MHT) this weekend.

The Raiders gets in the preseason match against the Cardinals holding a 1 - 1 record. The host team recently just came off a defeat against the Minnesota Vikings which had them at 20 - 12. Sports analysts noted that both Derek Carr and Amari Cooper have exhibited a notable connection. Meanwhile,Oakland are looking into a more aggressive and assertive defense front courtesy of head coach Jack Del Rio. Despite the optimistic views with regard the recent decisions made in the Oakland locker room, the match against the Vikings in Week 2 of the 2015 NFL preseason cast the former in a bad light. The preseason match during the second week saw the Raiders rack up 13 penalties for 106 yards.

Meanwhile, the Cardinals are hoping to see Jermaine Gresham show off in the preseason match against the Raiders. With the future of the player to take on the tight end post since the retirement of Oakland vet star John Carlson during the NFL offseason, head coach Bruce Arians keeps a keen eye on the potential of Gresham as the status of Troy Niklas' health remains a question mark for the team. As for the offensive side of Arizona, Carson Palmer is optimistic on the ability of the team to deliver.

"As far as being faster or slower than another team -- everybody is fast," said Palmer in an interview with Andie Hagemann of NFL Media. The Cardinals quarterback added, "I think what may separate us is we have the ability to go really fast and [employ] four-receiver sets. We have the ability to put a bunch of tight ends in the game with two running backs, run behind Mike Iupati and Jared Veldheer and have that kind of size and that kind of explosion and strength."

The Cardinals star went on to say, "Most offenses I've been in, you're 'X' offense. Because we're very multiple and have different types of players at each position, it's hard to lump us into one category."
