Arrow's return is close and ready to answer the major cliff-hangers from the midseason finale. The latest promotional video of the TV series offers a staggering look at what would happen to the Team Arrow in the months to come. Here's the latest information about Arrow Season 4 premiere date, episode recap, villains and spoilers.
In the last week's episode, it was revealed that Felicity's life is in danger after she was hit by Damien Darhk's (Neal McDonough) crews, when they attacked Oliver's limo at the end of the fall finale. Because of what happened, some viewers believe Felicity could become Oracle.
For those who are not familiar with the character, Oracle was the identity taken by Barbara Gordon after she went paralyzed. The character is an invaluable resource known for her tech expertise and ability to get information quickly.
However, in an interview with Arrow's executive producer Wendy Mericle, she denied the speculations. "She is not Oracle," the producer told in Entertainment Weekly.
As a preview in the next episodes, Mericle said that Felicity is figuring out what will happen to her life after the tragic event. The character is also aware that Oliver Queen has a tendency to go back to his darker ways. Despite her doubts, Felicity is still optimistic about his partner.
The producer went on to explain that Felicity's new situation will greatly affect the Team Arrow in the next episodes.
Mericle also gave details about Roy's return to Star City and how the character will affect the introduction of The Calculator, a DC comic villain who will be played by Tom Amandes.
Amendes is set to make his debut appearace in Episode 12 as Noah Kuttler, a criminal leader and computer genius. He will use his skills to blackmail Roy out of retirement. The villain character will also have connections to Felicity, according to EW.
"Roy comes back in a really surprising, new way. Like Oliver, he seems to have fallen back into some old habits," Mericle teased.
Meanwhile, Stephen Amell expressed that he wants Slade Wilson/Deathstroke (Manu Bennett) to return to the TV series. He said that during an interview at the Heroes and Villains Fan Fest.
"I really do. He was a transformative villain. I would really love it if Deathstroke could keep being a part of the Arrow universe." The actor said.
The episode 11 of Arrow Season 4 is set to air on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
