As their son, Josh Duggar, is embroiled in yet another shocking controversy, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are finding their comfort and security in their Christian faith.

According to a report from US Weekly, the eldest Duggar son has been hit with a lawsuit filed by Danica Dillon, a porn star whom he allegedly slept with twice earlier this year.

According to the court documents, which she filed on Tuesday, Nov. 17, Dillon claims that Josh, 27, "assaulted her to the point of causing her physical and emotional injuries" on the two occasions that she said the pair had consensual sex. Dillon is suing the former "19 Kids and Counting" star for $500,000, citing "emotional and physical suffering."

The allegations come as Josh remains at a Christian rehab center in Rockford, IL, where he checked in this past August after confessing to cheating on his wife of six years, Anna, and using the website Ashley Madison to seek extramarital affairs. Several months prior, Josh admitted to molesting five underage girls as a young teen, several of whom were his younger sisters.

While Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have not spoken directly to the press regarding the latest controversy surrounding their son, they took to Facebook on Wednesday to quote Psalm 18:1-2, which reads, "I will love thee, O LORD, my strength. 2 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower."

The couple then offered their own thoughts: "So thankful for the Lord. He is our strength when we are weak. He is our rock and fortress. He is our safe place. He is our deliverer. We are so thankful for His love, goodness and kindness."

Meanwhile, as Josh continues his time in rehab, his wife, Anna, is also relying on her Christian faith as she attempts to raise the couple's' four children on her own.

The Duggar Family Blog recently shared some of Anna's advice for mothers, where she revealed that her number one tip is to be ready and willing to learn. Anna also revealed that she began struggling with the number of kids she has to care for after she and Josh welcomed their third child, and she worried about her children not feeling loved - until she looked to God for help.

"Have a learning spirit," Anna advised mothers. "I remember with Mackynzie, I thought we had so much figured out. And then with Michael, I was like, 'What can I learn?' And then with Marcus, it really brought me to my knees. I realized I couldn't do it on my own and that I needed God's wisdom to love each one of my children individually."
